I was there for about 10 minutes tops, and the doctor really didn't do much (to be fair, by then, the issue seemed to have resolved itself). But it wasn't much different from what I saw on YouTube. Anyway, far from $250, this doctor charged $1,232!! You'd think I had surgery or something for that price. Do NOT trust what the receptionists tell you! I will certainly not be returning. If this invoice doesn't single-handedly explain how broken the U.S. health care system is, then I don't know what does. Honestly, I've had haircuts that were much more time-intensive and worthwhile than this visit, and the invoice is outrageous.

I took early leave from work and commuted for absolutely nothing. What's most unacceptable is that no one acknowledged the situation or offered even a basic apology. Any insurance issues are sent to Ms. Bernadette, who breaks-through insurance roadblocks like an attorney - Wow, Thank you! The first week, I met with one of the sleep Doctor's who examined me, went over my medical history and explained why I was recommended for a sleep study. Next step - the actual sleep over! The Tech - Mr. Benjamin (Who's actually a doctor in another country) met me at 9pm when I walked in. He explained the entire process, even gave me a bottle of Poland Spring water. The area was clean and comfortable. Mr. Benjamin has a special way of making a patient feel at ease. He's technical, knowledgeable, confident and can break-down every detail to a patient while promoting positive-health. I was not very happy, because I used a CPAP machine since 2019 from now & it really worked out for me, but now they mentioned that I don't have sleep apnea while I have trouble sleeping through there own sleep study facility, like what is your problem & how very unprofessional you really are? He tried to sell me on his expensive sleep center study (which he said I definitely needed because I definitely had sleep apnea despite having zero symptoms). They did an EKG ("it's preventative!") despite my saying I didn't need one. Then for the past few months I've been dealing with their office trying to get prior authorization to see a specialist for a postpartum issue. They don't seem to have any idea how to get it for me so I'm going to have to go see another doctor. My insurance doesn't understand how they can be so "discombobulated." Just go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
