The museum is hosted out of an old house that was originally built by slaves in the 1800's. Currently there is a couple that lives on the second level and the museum is located on the first level.
The living room area has a few photos, artifacts and chains that slaves wore on their ankles and necks.
There is a bedroom that holds most of the furniture slaves built, such as chairs, tables, beds, baby cradles, rice churns, steel irons...etc.
