Perhaps it feels little awkward to recommend a funeral home, but saying the last goodbye to the ones we love is inevitable and I am glad we made this choice. Should you ever need funeral services I highly recommend this place.

The loss of a loved one is one of the worst things any of us will ever endure in this lifetime. Unfortunately, we've had to experience it multiple times over the past years in multiple states and with multiple different funeral homes. I can not express in words how comforting it was to hire Richard at Fitzgerald Collins Funeral Home in Marlborough, MA to handle our family member's funerals with trust, respect, solidarity, compassion, and true professionalism! I found him not only to be very knowledgeable and informative but most importantly he was extremely transparent and HONEST with us about everything. I'm not much of a pushover and I've definitely seen other funeral homes prey on distraught people (such as my mother when my father passed) but my experience with Richard and his funeral home was the exact opposite which was refreshing! He didn't try to BS me and after planning so many funerals over the years I would have seen it coming a mile away if he had tried. Thank you Richard for treating us and our family with the utmost dignity and respect and most of all for being an honest person! Always continue to treat your customers the way you'd want your family to be treated (which is how you treated us) and I have no doubt that God will continue to bless your business. Thanks for being an advocate for our family through this time of grief. (Both times!!!) Highly recommended local business! A+++

Jeff is not only an amazing funeral director, he is a kind, compassionate, thoughtful, wonderful human being. Even though we'd arranged for pre-planned services many years ago, Jeff treated us as if we were writing a check today! My father-in-law passed away at 6:00 in the morning in a nursing home. I received a call from Jeff at 7:30am telling me he's picked up dad, and he was safe in the funeral home. He arranged for a time that was convenient for us to come in much later that day to make Dad's final arrangements. I swear he works about 20 hours a day! While dad had done the original planning years ago, Jeff still helped us put together a service which was perfect for our family, and did everything we asked to honor the great man our father was. All the details were handled beautifully, and we didn't need to worry about a thing. Dad was very ill at the end of his life and had lost a significant amount of weight, so we were worried about how he would look for the calling hours. No worry needed. Jeff prepared our dad for burial expertly, and made him look like he was younger and healthier again. In fact, it was so comforting for us to say it looked like he was just taking a nap. Dad was a veteran, so Jeff arranged for a service with full military honors, which was so important to Dad, and meant so much to us. I cannot more highly recommend Jeff and Hays Funeral Home. The genuine care and concern he showed for all of us and his expertise in his craft created a beautiful memory for us rather than just a sad day of loss. Thank you Jeff, and Rachel, for all you did for us. We could not possibly be any more pleased with the services and burial. Thank you for creating a last memory of our Dad that we'll treasure forever. You have our lasting gratitude. The family of Gordon Maccabee

When my mother-in-law passed, we contacted Duckett, but the man we met with was no longer there., We met with a woman who said she was the director, she had a really difficult time locating our contract, but finally did. It was an odd meeting, and I felt like she was very new at this. The day of the funeral we arrived on time as the family, when we walked into the funeral home we couldn't find her or anybody, there was a janitor's door open, and a lot of cleaning supplies were still out in the hall. My family came in right behind us and brought it to our attention that there was no book for people to sign in so we had to look for the director ( took us 10 minutes to locate her) to ask her for the book and the stand. When my husband got up at the funeral to to speak, there wasn't anything for him to put his notes on. Again, I went looking for the director to ask her and she said she took the stand to put the sign in book on so she took the sign in book off and carry the stand to where my husband was speaking. It was odd, the entire ordeal was odd. Lastly, and I hate to bring this up, but my mother-in-law looked horrible. She had makeup caked on her and bright red lipstick. I couldn't in good faith recommend this place. Sorry

Even though there's no signage stating otherwise! Then I'm told the parking area is One Direction again no parking notifications of any type then I'm told one entrance is only used as an entrance and one entrance is only used as an exit even though there's no labels on either of them!! Sure I was pretty upset in the first place seeing us were there for a funeral, but I thought the whole purpose of those people was to keep everything smooth. The actual interior has water stained ceilings, bathroom fans that are dying much like the whole reason you're there is way better places.
