Also can ask main Doctor to refill medications. Geese... people, Orthopedic's are always booked and some are even booked for 2 months... But that was never the case here. I can call last minute and ask to see if they have an opening on any of the doctors there that could see me in any of their 5 or so offices. Duh. People if you can not see your main doctor drive to the other offices... They are not that far. And in pain you would go and drive anywhere to get treatment. Ps. So, because I drove, he didn't bring his license. Guess what, they refused to see my husband because no license. Secretary said she had no choice but to reschedule. I offered my license .... Nope, not accepted. She didn't even look at the insurance card. I suppose we were saved the bad experiences reported because it was a red flag to find another doctor. No finesse, no workaround. Bunion surgery here is done via minimum invasive surgery which means it's done in this office in a…read morespecial room with an x-ray machine & the doctor makes a couple of incisions around the bunion area & uses the x-ray machine to guide her in the surgery. I was prescribed an antibiotic to take prior to the surgery as well as valium. The procedure took a little over an hour & you are awake the whole time but cannot see what is going on as they put up a curtain although I will admit my foot felt real weird during it but I was not in pain. Was sent home with pain meds & the doctor was wonderful. She checked in with me over the weekend and has a wonderful bedside manner as well as her husband who assisted during the surgery. He advised every step of the way so that I knew what was going on. This place is extremely clean & the staff is very organized. Definitely recommend for all your foot needs! First, there was such a lack of professionalism shown in a student therapist, bragging about her…read moregrade, while providing physical therapy. Why is a student giving physical therapy? They charged me $20 per visit copay and changed their minds to $30 copay and made me pay for it. They claimed I visited 7 times when it was only 5, forcing me to pay more. They refused to make an appointment for me without insurance approval, causing a huge lapse in therapy, deeming themselves useless, and a big waste of time. To top it all off, the Better Business Bureau at BBB.0rg gives them an F rating. As I skim through some of their reviews, I can see they had the same problem.
