It's just a gym! - it doesn't have cafes, smoothie shops, fluff, etc. Even though it's not big and bougie, they have a lot of cardio machines and equipment and I've never had to wait. It's never crowded, and it's members are all ages and fitness levels - despite being next to UD campus. It's less expensive than most of the other options we explored, and the staff is nice. I feel like people look for different elements and vibes when choosing a gym, but this one is a great fit for us. The only challenge is in getting there more often

Unlike large gyms, often crowded & noisy with lots of bumping into peo'. & other distractions; this gym is a more 'private experience' with access available 24/7 with your own personal fob key for your convenience and protection. As a female client security is very important to me. They have that covered as well. Lots of surveillance around the clock. I've been a member for 'over ten years at this location'. When I booked my appointment I was surprised to see that there was no wait and that they exclusively offered 2g classes. It was a pleasant surprise not having to book a class weeks out and not being forced into a 3g. I had a little bit of a tough time finding the studio. Their google map location is a few storefronts down from where they actually were. Once I found it I walked to what I thought was the front entrance and using all of my muscle generated through months of working out at Orange Theory I tried to swing open the door. The door would not open and I quickly realized that this was a locked door leading to the weight floor. Inside the staff was friendly and helpful. They made small talk with me while I waited for my class. As for the facility it was very big and spacious. There was plenty of space to wait. They also sold some cool merchandise that I had not seen before. The gym space was really big as well and there was plenty of space between stations. There were 16 stations each. The coach I had was a little underwhelming. She was a visiting coach from another studio and I wasn't a huge fan of her style. Overall this was a cool studio and I look forward to going back.

I like the spin classes the best as they are different from the other gyms in the area. Bikes are well maintained, music is great, workout varies each time - so no boredom. Arms used in workout too! If you try the spin/barre class you also get to have a full body workout. Instructors are friendly and do not intimidate Brooke offers an early morning workout that is a great start for the day. Ashley, Beth & Callista are energetic and positive motivators. The boxing class is challenging FUN Haven't tried the yoga yet but plan to.

We take our 3 boys to Lawler's for karate lessons every week and sometimes 3-4x a week because they love it so much. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging and structure the classes so that the kids are learning while having fun. Mark, Gail, and all of the instructors care about the students and their families - and in shows in how they run the studio. We have a lot of options in the area for martial arts, but we are happy we chose Lawler's!
