We…read morewere originally scheduled for Sunday but they called us on Friday and told her the weather didn't look great so they accommodated us for Saturday first thing in the am. We told them we needed to be out by a certain time and they made sure we were in and out in record time. There was a whole separate indoors area for spectators which was perfect for a cold day in Florida. And once the bride to be was up in the plane and about to jump we were able to move outdoors to exactly where she would land and took some great pictures. Ben gave some good instructions on how much time it would take between when they took off to landing so we followed that and it was pretty accurate. Ben was the bride to be's instructor/co flyer and he was great! Funny, knew his stuff, clear, and cool. The ladies in the front registration area were also nice and on top of everything. The pictures they took were so good and $40 which was reasonable, the video was more expensive so we just got the pictures. We would certainly come again and this time join her in sky diving!

It felt necessary after spending 20 minutes in his lap on the way to 10,000 feet before he opens the door an says I have to hang my feet out of the plane. My biggest fear was my weight pulling Caleb out of the plane unexpectedly. The view was spectacular over the area. The wind was so calm and quiet once the chute opened. The rolls in the sky were so much fun. The landing was exciting as well. Caleb told me to lift my legs and feet just as we landed on our asses and skidding for about 10 feet. (February 2024) WOW. First experience. You can imagine how…read morescary it is leading up to the skydive. We had people in our group ranging from thrilled to extremely anxious. All of our jumpers were extremely skilled and made us feel so safe. I was paired with Carlos Silva who landed less than five minutes before coming right back up with me. Martin got me all strapped up with my gear and let me know Carlos would be taking me. It helps to know their names and feel more connected with them before strapping up. I was worried about meeting him later than my friends met their jumpers but I was lucky enough to watch him land with another jumper so I knew he was good at it! Our party was 6 total so we got the whole plane to ourselves. It was nice to see our jumpers being buddy buddy with each other bc it allowed us to talk on the plane too versus sitting in terror. The jump out is immediate. He was good at reminding me anything I needed to do and wasn't (relax, etc). If you have preferences (keep it slow, no swinging etc) you should tell them. They'll do their best to accommodate what your needs are. Pro tip: don't close your mouth while you're up there as much as you may want to, the video will look crazier lol with all the air blowing on you Thank you Carlos and Jump Florida!! Unforgettable.

They kept us apprised of their thought process regarding weather and safety. We met up with some other balloonists before take off. The entire process was fascinating and it was amazing because they involved us in every step. We felt safe and taken care of the entire duration. I loved hearing about the history of hot air balloons and the tradition of the champagne toast. The views in the balloon were spectacular- it is so peaceful above the trees. We loved seeing the different bird species below and even a couple of gators. We waved to pedestrians and people in their homes along the way, as well. Our landing was way smoother than expected. We also really enjoyed the Bob Evan's brunch afterward. They have a max capacity of 5 on the balloon. We lucked out with no other passengers for a more private ride. You have the option to book it privately if you want to ensure a private ride. The price was $550 which I found to be incredibly affordable considering the bucket list item it is. This included the ride, champagne toast, and Bob Evan's breakfast. You essentially also get a history lesson and a beginners guide to hot air balloon operation if you pay attention and listen closely! I can definitely see how someone could get hooked. The feeling is almost indescribable when you are in the air! What a wonderful experience right here in Tampa!

He clearly knows what he's doing and actually gave us the chance to steer while we were up there. I love the idea of the plane taking you up and untethering once you've reached a high enough altitude, it's a clever work around when you're trying to hang glide in a flat area like Florida. You're not up in the air for long but the whole experience is so surreal and exciting that you appreciate every moment. Staff were also super friendly, I really appreciated them taking awesome pictures and videos for me. I'd 100% recommend Wallaby Ranch and Malcolm to anyone wanting a truly memorable experience.

I feel bad for the skydiver employees because they were super nice & on top of making you feel comfortable but the business just does not have it together. After waiting to hours, you are then super rushed to get onto the plan and you're second guessing whether you know all you need to know. You get a few simple instructions and that's it! I was okay with it but I thought there would be more. Overall, skydiving is the bomb but the waiting process and set up bites. Enjoy!

Our last day in Orlando and we went to one of MY Favorite Places: Gatorland!…read more We first visited this Gator Sanctuary with our son, Mathew when he was 3 years old and we all loved it. Gatorland was started in 1949 by Owen Goodwin as a 1/2 day Family Attraction. It has since grown and now the Park has over 100+ Gators including a few albino's. Since I last visited the Park in 2018, Gatorland has added a Zipline with 5 lines which zip over Gators. This was an absolute MUST DO! The 2nd favorite thing I LOVE doing, is feeding the parakeets aka budgies You can purchase a bundle of popsicle sticks with peanut butter at one end rolled in bird seed. The Birds will flock to You and start eating. You can actually feel their "tootsies" on your skin and they are very warm. You MUST shuffle you feet to avoid stepping on the little ones who are pecking away at the dropped birdseed on the floor. My 3rd favorite thing is feeding the Gators. You can purchase Turkey hotdogs, break them into pieces and toss them to the Gators! They come swimming up to you to be fed. How COOL! My next favorite is the Gator Show which involves completely harmless Gator: wrestling. Basically the Trainer gently straddles the Gator and tips his chin under his. Be sure to come hungry as they have a cafe which serves, you guessed it: Gator bites/nuggets.
