Why 5 stars? Because if you're looking for short term co-working, this is your place…read more --- --- --- Lesson learned: if you're looking for a day pass to a co-working place in Tampa Bay, it is not easy to come by. I assumed I would have the choice of several different options, but it turned out that CoWorkTampa was really the only spot - and it ended up being great! I was looking for a place where I'd have a decent amount of space, first of all. I didn't need completely privacy, but just wanted to make sure we weren't elbow-to-elbow with other fellow co-workers, which is what would have happened if we opted to go to a coffee shop. CoWorkTampa has an ample amount of space, which almost made us feel like we had an entire area to ourselves. There were other folks around, but the space really lent itself to the semi-private setting I was seeking. The cost was $20 a day, per person, which gave us the space we needed, wifi, coffee and access to store anything in the kitchen. We were also offered to join in on a member lunch when they had a surplus of food one day. Also, something we utilized multiple times were the private booths for phone/video calls that only have enough room for one person and your laptop. Those were very clutch for the calls we needed to take. I'd return to CoWorkTampa in a heartbeat next time I need space. And I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for become a member!

What I found hunting for a Cowork space was the prices most locations want are simply outrageous. Coworking is suppose to be for small business and young startups, yet they want to charge a fortune for membership, and then, on top of that parking is pay at many places. Coworktampa has FREE parking! It is really a nice mix of business and entrepreneurs too. I have met a lot of great people. Few months back they installed a new community manager and he has been incredible too. Check it out before you pay confiscatory rates at some other location.

We work from a home office since we don't need a physical office, but oftentimes we need a conference room that is quiet and distraction free in order to Zoom with clients (dogs can be very loud- LOL). It is very easy to schedule online and whenever we have to reschedule or cancel they make it very easy to do so- you can call them directly or send them an email. Their website is also easily laid out and you can quickly login and see your current bookings and make a new booking within 1/2 minutes- credit card saved. If you plan on being there all day though, be prepared to bring some food/snacks with you or order food to you. There are not many food options in walking distance. Overall, I recommend this location if you need to rent a small (or large) conference room/office space to conduct meetings or Zoom calls. We haven't needed to book a large conference room but the ones that are available look great also. We usually just need a small "day office" and we use a laptop. Prices are reasonable also.

She didn't know anything and kept saying to get a manger and that's was it. When I said I didn't need to leave a massage she ignored my question and said ok have a great day lol. Why I can't get a job, guess you don't need skills to work anymore just a car and some makeup.

Ybor City is one of those places that reflects exactly what you bring into it. It can feel sleazy…read moreand chaotic if that is what you focus on. It can turn into a full blown Saturday night party scene with flashing lights and packed sidewalks. Or it can be light, bright, interesting, and genuinely fun if you approach it with curiosity and a plan. My friends and I had a great time. The four of us found a very reasonably priced Airbnb close to Ybor, split the cost, and kept the weekend affordable, which mattered to all of us. We are at that stage of life where people are changing jobs, moving homes, shifting states, and recalibrating priorities. Being in this age group comes with both opportunity and instability, so we are all a bit more cost conscious right now, and this setup worked perfectly. Our main reason for being there was to go to Funny Bone, right in the heart of Ybor, but we intentionally walked the strip during the day first so we could see the area before the nightlife really kicked in. During daylight hours, you can appreciate the historic architecture, the energy building, and the mix of shops and restaurants without the late night intensity. By Saturday night, it was a different story. The later it got, the busier it became. Nightclubs and bars filled up, lines stretched down the sidewalks, and police cars were clearly present to manage the crowds. Some people who have not been to Ybor recently might describe it as dangerous. I would say it depends entirely on your comfort level and your expectations. If you are uncomfortable with crowds, loud music, and a heavy party atmosphere that ramps up around 1 or 2 a.m., you will probably want to wrap up your night before midnight. The lines outside the clubs grow long, the sidewalks get packed, and the energy shifts from casual to full throttle. Personally, I felt safe the entire time. I was with a group, we were aware of our surroundings, and nothing felt out of control. Having spent most of my life in downtown Los Angeles, this did not feel extreme to me at all. It felt like a typical entertainment district on a Saturday night. Ybor is not one dimensional. It is layered. It can be gritty. It can be vibrant. It can be chaotic. It can be charming. It really does become whatever you decide to engage with.
