I make an annual trip to meet up with a friend, we stay in Destin and we always do something exciting while we're in town. I've parasailed in California, Destin & the Bahamas. The staff at Sun Dogs are the BEST. They take you higher and you're up longer than any other place I've ever parasailed. The staff are so meticulous, safety conscious, friendly, happy and genuinely want you to have a blast. I can't recommend them enough. I'm sorry to say that I don't remember the name of the young man that shuttled us out to the boat & back (8/03 11am) but we were all so impressed with him. Please thank him from the "dolphin people" If you've wanted to parasail but are scared-don't be! It's much safer than it looks, and a great time. From up there, we've seen rays, sharks, turtles & dolphins. Just do it! See you next year!

It was my kids first time parasailing, and they walked us through everything so they had a blast! The views from up there were absolutely breathtaking, crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches, and even a few dolphins and jellyfish swimming below us. It feels surreal. The takeoff and landing were super smooth, and the whole experience felt safe and well-organized, only 6 people go out at a time so we aren't packed into a boat. The boat ride itself was also a blast, good music, great vibes, and lots of laughs. The crew had a great sense of humor and made the whole trip so great. If you're visiting Destin and looking for something exciting and memorable, don't miss out on Sundog Parasailing these guys are the best! I went 2 years ago and when we got back to the area I knew I had to book with them again and take my kids! We will be back.

They didn't have any of pontoon with slides but were able to snag us their last normal pontoon with a departure time of 230pm. It was tricky to find their address and parking-- there's a little side street just past the bistro that you go down. But once we got there, it was smooth sailing and we were actually able to depart early... and didn't have to return early. The staff were helpful, efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. The boat itself was in good shape and ran well for the short trip to Crab Island.

My only issue was that the lady who checked us in basically fat shamed. She kept asking for weight, and implying that if i didn't get on the banana boat i wouldn't be able to get to the other boat. I'm a thick girl but I'm not fat. I'm a very active girl so i was very confused. I wasn't the only one who felt this way. There was another family who went with us and the mom was a bigger lady. The lady who checked us in kept asking loudly in a rude way what her weight was. I'm pretty sure no woman wants to tell her weight in front of people. I just felt it was a better way to ask these questions since we had already answered them on the wavier we had to sign. Going forward i think it's best to make sure you review the waiver that everyone signs. If we would have listened to the check in lady we wouldn't have went because she made it as if we were too fat to go.
