I was going to wait until I move to do this review to give the full experience but the towing company they hired are trash and liars, and I don't think it's going to get any better here also don't have any guests they can only visit once every 30 days for free and then it's $7 day. I'm giving it two stars because it is a place to live better than homelessness and you can have 3 animals. Been there for three years now and most likely my last year. Communication sucks unless you owe them money then they know how to communicate, they make money from when your car gets towed, so that's probably why that part of the communication sucks. Sometimes the water gets cut off without any notice so hopefully you're not in the shower when they're "fixing" the pipes and much more. These are some broken down apartments that need to be renovated asap The manager is nice til you sign the lease then after that shes rude to her tenants my mom is 73 years old and she tried to talk to my mother crazy when all we were trying to do is figure out the parking problem because they tried to tow my car when I came to work for my father because I am his home health care aide. she didn't want to hear anything we said and she terminated my mom's lease saying she violated the lease because they were trying to tow my car smh Scrilla the manager told me on my google review to come talk to them about the issues so I did and she didn't want to hear anything we said. I would fight this but the apartment complex is not even worth it. half the people that left good reviews are not there now r about to leave ..... i would not recommend theses apartments to anyone read more

What could improve you ask? The fact that they charge you to park there to visit friends or family is utterly ridiculous. My 86-year-old mother lives there with my brother who is her full-time caretaker and I have to help them two and three times a week! That being said I am not giving them one red cent to park there again. I will park on North Roe or Ralph Street...it's a section 8 apartment complex. I get they're trying to keep riffraff out but come on! Not everyone can't afford that If it were a nicer apartment complex/community I would understand but come on it's the hut of settlement always has been and it always will be. Ok so my daughter thought she had found a great place. However she's been scammed, lied to, screwed over big time! Tabetha took her application fee. Said she could move in yesterday. Kristen went there after taking the whole day off and renting a truck. She is a SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE YOUNG BOYS by the way! She went there and Tabetha was nowhere to found. The property mgr. asst. said that Tabetha had not done her due diligence and therefore Kristen could not have the apt!!! Are you kidding me??? So she goes to get her $450 money order back and at first was given one for $300 by Yesenia. She was told the rest was an admin fee. OMG. She had to argue to get the rest of the $450 back. So now she is without a place for her and her three boys while working a very busy full time job. I have never heard of such horrible treatment and I own several apt bldgs in California and have never treated anyone like they have. Shame on you guys! You're disgraceful! Truly disgusting! I guess they blocked Kristen from speaking her mind so here it is: "If I could do NEGATIVE STARS I would. I was completely bamboozled. After many many many searches, driving, internet, word of mouth... I came across Sky Landing. I had an extensive conversation with Tabetha regarding my situation. She kept harping on how transparent they are there, and I am the same way. After explaining everything she told me to apply. I hadnt seen the apartments yet, so i waited til i was able to see the unit. I saw a model unit, not the one she picked for me (#115). I got the money order together and applied. The next day, I came in with that, and the security dep of $450. Tabetha said, ok i have you set to move in for the following Wednesday. I am a single mother of 3, I work FT, and I had gotten the day off and a truck rented to move. Don't you know I didn't hear from her on move in day by 10am, so I physically drove myself to the office to see what was going on. I get there and there's no one in the office except the property manager (which i never got her name). She acted as if I wasn't moving there, and that the unit wasn't even ready, and got my children situated with schools and what not. Theres a lot that went into all of this WHICH THEY HAVE ZERO CONSIDERATION FOR!!! I was told she was running late and would be in later. Later happened and I waited all day (without moving anywhere). I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM TABETHA, and when I called the property Yesenia answered and said I might not be getting my deposit back because she has to look in my application and see if it was forfeited!!! WTF, my deposit is supposed to hold the apartment (#115) which YALL told me I would be moving into. You didn't hold shit! I said great if im being denied then I will be back to get my money. Then yesenia said OK you can come by today after 3. I went a few minutes after 3 (as I went on my lunch break) and came into the office where only the manager was sitting. Apparently Tabetha has the whole rest of the week off, which sounds to me like she got suspended (my opinion), but yet me and my children are now homeless because of this property trying to scam me and take my hard earned money. The manager asked me to sign a paper stating I'll was getting $300 back. I refused and said I came to get all of my money, the $450. There was a little problem there as well of course. One person blaming another for their mistakes. Just know i got all of my money (order) back and i wasnt leaving without it. It's taking a lot for me not to just slander their company and their business all over the place, but I guarantee this is not just me. Tabetha should not be working in this position WHAT-SO-EVER ... you have truly ruined the hopes of me and my children. If I could do 0 stars I would. Hot water shut offs whenever they want. Management changes constantly. Even though there's gas stove , we went 2 months without gas or a way to cook had to go to hotel since gas and hot water had been off so long it was UNBEARABLE.Roach infestations no matter how much they spray . Easy move in when I came but the worst apartments I ever lived in . They have beautiful pictures and advertising to get people to move in and never have I seen a unit look like the ones they are acting like they have. All appliances are old and has issues. $1350 for an apartment worth less then $800. PLEASE BEWARE !!!! Would not recommend these apartments to anyone! Seems like a weekly thing with the water being turned off completely or bare minimum the hot water for several days! Unresponsive office staff, not to mention the rudeness and unprofessional manner they conduct their selfs. The minimum personal space you would expect to have within your walk/door way is non-existent! Not only are these apartments an eye sore to the road but each unit has broken out windows, torn down blinds, a/c units hanging out of the windows, the pavement is broken. They painted it to make it look like they did renovations but up close it is an absolute dump. Unless you enjoy finding syringe needles and seeing drug deals happen, move along. Disgusting. I would never recommend someone move into these apartments. The previous management company was very unprofessional, however the new company is not only unprofessional but has proceeded to turn these apartments into a dump. Trash pick up is non-existent. Trash is constantly strewn around because there is no where to throw your trash and the animals get into it and the wind blows it around. Repairs go undone..plumbing is bad and there is a horrible smell coming out of the pipes. All requests for repairs go ignored. The sad thing is that the cockroaches and rodent problem is the least of it all. I would not recommend these apartments even to my worst enemies read more

i have lived here since march 2020 and will not be staying another year. we decided to try another year to give a chance, but will not again. they have hot water off a couple weeks at a time every month or so. our ac hasn't worked since we moved in, thats why we have ac units for the lady below who said something about it. if those two things would get taken care of then i maybe would stay. i don't see drug deals, or anything like that but my building also isn't ghetto like the rest. we keep to ourselves. i saw the amount they are trying to get for a three bedroom now and it is outregous. lol 1475 is not worth it. i pay 1220 right now and that isn't even worth it. so if you want no hot water and no ac, this is your place. read more
