My recent trip, I found mostly vintage items and/or mostly consignment type things that are fairly new. It seems that they have gone mostly to the "more" part of the name. The small selection of antique items were mostly rusty and still had dirt on them (exceptions made for cast iron). It'll be awhile before I return. Hopefully new vendors will come in.

Lingering Memories seems to be a bit off the beaten path, I wonder if the traffic I encountered on Good Friday was a holiday thing. At first glance, you may drive past it. It looks like any old antique shop. But if you are in the area, I would urge you to stop in. It is way bigger inside than it looks from the street. Basically, people that have things to sell rent a spot and there is everything from new merchandise to old Jimmy Hendricks albums. There is furniture, wicker, art, jewelry...a lot of stuff. If you want to window shop without the windows and the annoyance of someone following you around while ou take your sweet time to peruse.....this a a great place to go. I know, I know.."Conyers?" you say. Yeah, but...there ya go. I rented a spot to sell my things (new stuff) and I will go back soon to add more stuff. I will definitely return and would suggest those shoppers looking only for antiques to do their research.

She commented that's not really how it works. She did call the buyer, they had what sounded like a judgmental conversation where the buyer rejected our offer and didn't offer a rebuttal. The whole thing felt icky. Not a fun flea market, could have been, but that's not what the old gals at this place want it to be. I'd spend your money elsewhere, places that don't scoff and snicker when you try to engage in the age old haggling tradition. Wouldn't recommend.
