A few pointers: 1) If you book a single kayak, you will still use a double kayak. You will just be by yourself. I'm older and don't kayak often, so this was a little challenging. I had expected a one-person kayak. They did offer to pull me or have the boat pick me up if I got tired. I made it through without assist, but it's easier if you have someone to paddle with you. 2) The water is normally calmer in the mornings, so book the early tour if possible. 3) They take a pic of you in your kayak in the water, which is super nice. It was a little disappointing that most of the tour was in the marina and the river. You really don't get the clear Tahoe water tour that's promoted in the pictures. Wish that would have been explained and maybe pushed us to go a different route to get the real Lake Tahoe views/experience. I would definitely use Clearly Tahoe again, but I would pick a different tour.

I was out in a field near the business location, close to the Gardnerville Nevada dog park. All of a sudden they put on a show for me, best standing view and all to myself. Some of them waved! Cool to hear the hot air/see the flames. What a fantastic parade of balloons. Next time I'm up here I'll go for a ride!

Our ride lasted about an hour and we had a great time. Because this was in July, we had a motorized carriage with an awning covering us, thankfully! The carriage was decked out in red, white and blue and very clean! Victoria was full of trivia about the area and was a great photographer coaxing the three of us to have fun, stopping for pictures throughout the ride.

Olivia met us, graciously checking us in and introducing us to Bert. He is an amazing, loving, gentle horse. Very handsome too. The carriage, rigging and harness are all beautiful. It's is immediately obvious that the experience will be first class. The blankets are warm, the sky blue. There is snow on the ground and AJ, our driver, is a delight sharing stories of the horses, her life living with and caring for Bert and the other horses while we enjoy the scenery during our ride! AJ clearly has a special bond with Bert, I image with the others horses as well. She takes a pretty good photo too! The Borges are to be commended, as our their drives and horses. It is never too late to start a new annual tradition.

I had all the vendors booked and had decided the basics for how we wanted our wedding, but beyond that Karen took care of everything. She came to the rehearsal dinner and made every feel so relaxed and confident that everything would go smoothly. Nerves were a little high (especially the moms) and Karen came in and completely took charge but without being too overbearing. On the day of the wedding she showed up early with her awesome assistant and again took care of absolutely everything (organizing caterers, setting up the desserts, putting all the flowers up, setting place settings for 150+ people, etc. etc.). Basically every single little thing we were worried about she took care of. I (bride) was confined to a room all day (duh) and so I couldn't be out taking care of anything. Karen had my vision in mind and she just made it happen. Her and her assistant were so awesome to have there to guide us through the ceremony, they really made everyone in the wedding party feel comfortable and confident.
