The newest part of the MSMC buildings... on google maps it's still a big dirt lot... the skolnick tower is really something. The lobby has bright natural light and soft visually appealing suspended art. Everything is bright and fresh. Surprisingly for a larger space with hard surfaces (great for cleanliness) it's not loud, so someone did acoustical designing well.

"Dr" Kantrowitz was making his rounds with a very nice Dr. Dr Stanley Briol. When they came to room "5127" I was In a considerable amount of pain. I recently had my second neck surgery in 6 months and I'm dealing with a very high amount of nerve pain and overall physical pain. I brought up a type of medical procedure that was used on me during surgery to help my bones grow quicker "Bone Morphogenetic Proteins" this treatment can cause inflammation to bring proteins to areas in need to make the bone grow faster. I had also had an MRI done the day before which showed that I had high levels of inflammation in my neck. As soon as I brought up this treatment. Dr. Kantrowitz told me that he didn't care what I saw on chat gbt or the internet and I tried to ask him okay, Can you explain and he said you can't debate with me about this stuff. I went to MIT. I asked him who he was and he told me he was the chief neurosurgeon. He was very rude and off-putting. He was very dismissive even though I was in and am extreme amounts of pain. I asked him why are you being an asshole towards me?... He said and I quote "your the asshole, I've seen enough, let's go". He left the room without helping me at all even tho that is his job, and while I perhaps should not have said; "why are you being an asshole to me" . He definitely should not have said you're the asshole. That was highly unethical. Also highly inappropriate because all I was asking about was trying to get help with the amount of pain I am in. And to leave the room without addressing my dire need for help violates the moral code that doctors sign saying that they will do whatever it takes to help a patient.

After a mishap at another walk in clinic, I took that clinic's advice and came to "the pineapple". After a screening at the entry for "that which shall not be named" I took the elevator to the urgent care clinic on the fourth floor. I filled out the paperwork while sitting in the spaced & plexiglass-separated settes and waited about 45 minutes to be taken to the back. A nurse came first to get my symptoms, and an x-ray tech shortly after to do a rule out xray. (Yes I had to wear the famous gown). They have modern digital xrays in the floor, and the technician was really courteous and did them without needing a retake. A short wait after that, the doctor came in, gave me decent news and I was on my way. It almost seems the biggest wait was in the waiting room instead of being attended. Based on this experience, and at other Baptist Urgent Care centers, these are where I would go if I ever need an MD again.
