"Skirt is all about women," which I actually consider pretty insulting, because Skirt Magazine is also about identifying yourself through your purchases and whining. I hate to come down so hard, because there needs to be a publication speaking to the precarious balances of modern female life, but flipping through ads for boob jobs (purported to improve confidence!) and the latest version of "Problems Men Started" doesn't help me cope. That being said, I'll admit that they occasionally feature interesting locals and events.
