I bought a groupon because honestly I'm not that picky and I can't justify paying full price. I'm a full fledge "treat yaself" gal.... who rolls on a budget. The scheduling process was a bit confusing because there is no general answering machine inbox, or a way to schedule with a real person, they have an answering machine that requires you to just pick someone and leave them a message (which I did). I picked Erin because I saw someone else liked her. Ha! Good enough for me. Luckily, she wrote me a text back after not being able to reach me back via phone and we were able to confirm the appointment. I prefer texting over phone tag :P Bonus. The venue itself is quaint but suffices. This is not your frill spa, but rather a working skin care salon. The facial itself gets 5/5 (and the afterglow!). By far the best facial I've received, much attention to shoulders, neck, face as well as an easy extraction process. My skin still feels vibrant and it's been three days. 3.5 Got a microdermabrasion with facial a couple weeks back and was looking forward to it since the reviews were great on Yelp. The studio is in a building and really small...nothing frilly or really relaxing about it, when you undress the window is barely covered! I had Susan who is very nice and friendly however this whole experience was just...painful! I've had microderm before...and I know it's not relaxing so that wasn't surprising...the facial..wow the extractions were intense...I get facials regulary and never have I felt the need to pull my face away because I was so uncomfortable! I had tears coming down my cheeks! I wanted to scream...settle down dude... Granted after all this discomfort my face looked stellar! But everytime i touched my nose I could feel the bruise for a good week! I've had better experiences so I don't think I'll be going back here.. read more

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical when I bought my groupon for this place, but I was very impressed by the results. I got microderm done by Justyna, and she was really great. She made a lot of amazing recommendations for facial regimens that would benefit me and my anxious hands that like to pick my face. She was super friendly and had very gentle hands and took her time on me. Thanks to her recommendation, I have started a really good regimen and my skin is looking SO much better. I also got a microderm done by Susan Anthony. Hers was a bit more painful, but I definitely got even better results with it. She also recommended a retinol mask which I agreed to, and honestly my skin has been shining ever since (it's been almost 2 weeks). I have an appointment for a sensi peel next week and am excited about the results! This place is very small, just two rooms inside of a building. If you're looking for a relaxing spa, this is not it. Getting facials on a frequent, has made me pretty picky when it comes to my skin. I went to Skin Logica Spa since I had a Groupon, and am so glad I did. My skin was glowing after I left. I've gone there twice already, and can't wait to go back! Susan is very knowledgeable on skin.. you can tell by looking at her own. I went there for a micro-dermabrasion each time and for an oxygen facial, and left there impressed. My skin had a glow for a couple of days and looked so clear. Almost forgot, also got my legs waxed the second time, loved it. Painless. The location is right off the highway, and had no trouble finding metered parking on the street. Skin Logica is small, but inside, it is very cute, Susan is great at what she does, and friendly. If you want straight and serious skin care, this is a must place to check out. I would be a bit warry if you purchased a voucher. I used on that they ran and my 1 hour anti-aging facial was around 40 minutes of which 30 of it was spent under and LED, flashing lamp that should have a warning for people with a history of migraine headaches. My face was washed/wiped several times with cool water-very unpleasant. They opened the door after my appointment time even though I was calling over and over because their sign said they would be out until 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. The technician (whom I think was the owner) ended up being in the place the entire time but just ignored the phone calls. Unpleasant..and unprofessional. read more

I have been coming to Skinlogica and seeing Susan since last fall. I initially came with a groupon, and had such a great experience, that I decided to make Skinlogica my exclusive place for skin care. I see Susan, who is very knowledgeable and makes my skin glow with every visit. I have stubborn hyper-pigmentation issues, and have been getting a combination of microderm abrasion and PCA peels. The results are amazing if you have a little patience and don't mind your face flaking for 5-6 days post treatment. Susan has even turned me onto a great skin regimen, and recommended an outstanding Moisturizer that doesn't break the bank, and a great spf to keep the sun damage from returning. I had my 5th or 6th treatment today and met with friends later this evening, and they all commented on how glowy and fresh I looked. Susan has really helped me with something I have been struggling with for over 3 years. It is such a relief to not be as self-conscious of my dark spots anymore, because they are barely noticeable. I've read some previous reviews about people complaining about the space. In my opinion, the space is lovely and peaceful. The bed is contoured and I find it is so relaxing. The windows are covered, so I am not sure why anyone would feel vulnerable, as you cannot see through them. If you like to feel pampered and special, this is the place for you. If you like larger, austere spas where you can get lost, and you are simply a number, then this is not the place for you. I prefer to go somewhere that does exceptional work, by a person who is welcoming and makes me feel comfortable. Location is convenient, however space appears a bit dated. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, however had to wait approximately 7 minutes in the hall (as the door was locked), before being allowed to enter. During this time I did call several times as well as knocked. That being said, I received a Basic Bikini by Susan whose touch was so gentle that I felt ABSOLUTELY no pain! My experience working with Susan Anthony, the co-owner at Skin Logica Spa had been truly enjoyable. I came to Susan wanting help for the pigmentation caused by melasma. We did a series of three chemical peels with microdermabration over three months and I noticed significant improvement. The dark spots were diminished and my skin had a healthy glow after wards. So I have had really bad skin lately (combination of stress, climate, and exercising) so someone suggested that I get some work done. I loved this spa, it was decorated so nice inside and it felt so exclusive. I had microdermabrasion, LED photorejuvenation, eyebrow wax, and facial. My face felt and looked SO much smoother the next day. I have super sensitive skin and none of the products used irritated my face at all (not even the wax, which has anywhere else!). I got a PCA peel which I enjoyed. It seems to have been the perfect strength as I'm peeling a small amount, but not too much. My only complaint is that it's impossible to get someone to answer the phone and the walls are very thin so you can hear people in the businesses next door talking, laughing, and doing other things which can be distracting when you're trying to enjoy your facial. read more

Why are all the great reviews hidden??? The reviews you see don't do this place justice. I went with a Groupon for a glycolic peel and added a facial, which was also discounted (nice!), so this was extremely affordable. Yes, Skin Logica is small and in an untraditional loft building, not a spa. But it wasn't terrible, and the treatment was among the best. Justyna was very gentle yet thorough with extractions. She definitely took her time. She also gave three different fabulous massages at various points of my facial -- neck and shoulders while steaming, face, and arms and hands while a mask soaked in. I was nearly asleep when my 90 minutes was up because she was so good. Now I feel super relaxed and my skin looks fantastic. I definitely recommend Justyna! read more

I love Skin Logic! I was for the first time yesterday and had a microderabrasion and massage. Justyna did my microderm.It was relaxing and enjoyable and best of all today my skin looks amazing!. She is very knowledgeable and is a absolute doll.As I am getting married, I am so glad to find someone to keep my skin looking it's absolute best! I then had a wonderful massage from Susan, who is also a very talented therapist. It was almost a combination of Swedish and deep tissue as it had the soft touch of a swedish but really worked out my tension! Although Skinlogica is a small, no-frills spa (when I went it looked as if there was only one room), the business owner makes sure you still have a great experience. It's in an out-of-the way place and quiet. I went to get my eyebrows waxed using a Groupon I purchased, and they were extremely helpful when I tried to set up an appt. but kept having to switch it. Since it's a small place, it's easy to get to know the women manning the phones. When I finally got there, I completely trusted the lady who waxed my eyebrows (the owner - sorry, I forgot her name), something I normally cannot do. She did an amazing job in keeping them natural looking but groomed. At the end, there was an issue with the credit card machine but she just waved the cost, asking me to instead pass on word about the salon. I am. This is my second trip to Skin Logica. My first visit with Susan was very good and so was my second with Elsa. The salon is small but they have online reservations (a HUGE plus so you can fulfill that impulse to make an appointment late at night!) and they have a good selection of high quality products. I finally used my Groupon for this place and loved it! Justyna did an amazing job and I left glowing, relaxed and coming back for more. Like other reviewers said, this is not a frilly zen kind of space, the focus is definitely on your skin and not the ambiance- fine with me. I have gotten many facials and at times I leave thinking "hmmm what did they do I can't see anything" and that was totally different here, my skin looks awesome and feels awesome. Another plus, Justyna recommended a product that I can buy at any old store and costs 5 Dollars! I bought a coupon from you swoop and I got even less than what I paid for. I booked the anti aging facial. Susan was the estetician who completed the facial. I get facials often and I expect good service and this facial did not meet my expectations. When I arrived to my appointment on time the door was locked and there was no one at the desk to let me in. I called and no one answered. I knocked on the door and just stood awhile waiting for someone to come to the door. When someone came to the door I was informed the two esteticians were with clients and they were the only ones there. I was told to have a seat. The lady who answered the door needed to return to her client. No water, juice, tea or other beverage was offered. I was quite thirsty and asked for water when the estetician came out with her client. Once in the room I was never given a wrap or robe. I was told to remove my shirt and lay on the bed under a sheet. Susan never rubbed my hands and arms. The mini massage of my shoulders and neck was very poor. I was Susan's last client of the day and she was ready to leave before I got there. I was supposed to get an Anti- Oxidant vitamin oil but Susan was out the door before I left and did not give it to me. The other esteticians (Elsa) prepared the oil and gave it to me. I will say that my mother who came for the same treatment as I received a totally different experience. She got the royal treatment including the hand and arm massage. There are many places one can go to get a facial. I would recommend you choose Nordstroms or another spa if you want a top notch facial. read more
