Dr. Patel and staff are amazing! From my consultation I felt comfortable. The doctor and staff are very good and explaining every step of the process and follow up to check on you post procedures. I am very happy with my results (breast implants and fat transfer to the buttocks) Look forward to going in 2019 for my tummy tuck. I am also currently doing the Laser hair removal on my face and so far I love it read more

Dr Patel and his staff are amazing. I lost 140 lbs and my breasts were so small even the muscle had deteriorated. I had gone from a D cup to not even filling an A cup. I was so shy about showing my body and at the consultation Dr Patel and his assistant Bina were so nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr Patel promised to make my breasts look as nice as possible. Surgery went great and I was back to work (lighter duty) within a week. I always get compliments on my breasts. I can't believe the magic he worked on them. They called to check on me quite a few times after my surgery and made me feel like a friend not only a patient . I would give Skin Deep 10 stars rather than 5!! I now plan on going back for a tummy tuck!! I definitely recommend them! read more

Skin Deep - Im now more confident thanks to Skin Deep! - Skin Care Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Awesome staff and dr. I bought a groupon for Skin Deep. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in the door. Christna was very friendly and got me set up for the procedure. Dr Patel explained everything before he started. He is very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. I did not feel like he rushed thru my procedure but instead he took his time to insure I had the best outcome possible. I was not pressured to buy any products and felt very comfortable. Skin Deep is awesome and I intend to visit there a few more times. If you are looking for a professional and friendly Dr. I highly recommend Dr. Patel, read more

Felt like just a $ sign here. Groupon "deal" was a joke! I have nice skin per Doctor yet I was told to buy a package. I saw no results,no difference,no redness nothing, why because they did in my opinion THEY DID THE LEAST POSSIBLE WORK THEY COULD DO! I got better results with otc face scrub. Very disappointed. Again,VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This was my 1st time going to Skin Deep, I was so excited because I have always wanted a potofacial however I could never do this procedure do to it being very pricey and all. Moreover, Skin Deep was having this promotion on Groupons for $99 dollars for 1 single potofacial so since I've always wanted this, I went for it .. I originally went in because I have been getting sun spots on the corners of my eyes and also a little patches on my cheeks as well i usually have microdermabrasion s done, however hadn't had one for about 5 months so I thought this potofacial would be even better. so when I get there I was placed in a room then shortly afterwards the doctor walked in so I explained to him the areas i was most concern about! at less I thought he understood!!! but after he finished I looked in the mirror and noticed lines running across my face like I was ran over with bicycle but they assured me that this was fine that it would clear up in a few days and that it would flake off however, 4 weeks past and I still had brown patches/lines running across my face....it had came to a point that i took matters into my own hands, I was tired of my skin looking scarred up like I had ashes all over my face , so I had made appointment with another facility and arranged to have 3 microdermabrasion s performed so far I had 2 competed already this has helped cleared up my skin by removing 1st layer of dead skin on my face. This has been a process tho because i can only do this once per week i have ro wait to regenerate news in tissue & besides this, I have to now use also an 8 percent bleaching cream too help speed up process of lighting the spots on my face ...at the beginning it was very embarrassing for me, since I work in the public eye all the time. people who do not knw me ask what happened to me so i have to explain myself to them & relive the horrible moments of my potofacial going wrong ... FYI: My skin is olive color and in conclusion the doctors assistant tells me people who have my color of skin takes a very long time to heal WTH wow really!!!!! Please do your research people before doing any kind of laser treatment to your face, for now on i will only do microdermabrasion s on my face ... I don't recommend Skin Deep because before he started he ask if I purchased the package deal they were having so I can come back again becausen its recommended having photofacial 2 more times, they tryed persuading me in getting their package deal for 2 more treatments of $800 dollars, I told him I wasn interested but if all goes well with 1st one i would come back purchase 2 more sessions, so to conclude my horrible nightmare, I personally think he did a shitty job to bring me back he didn't care about my well being he cared more about the dollars signs instead $$$$$ So people don't go to this doctor!!!! u have been warned!!!!!! read more

I was very disappointed. I bought the Groupon and I think he treated me like I was at Walmart, it did nothing for me. They were trying to sell me on more........haha...I wasted the money on my Groupon and I am not going back......... Even though I did the coupon I thought I should still get the same service if I paid full price...............very disappointed! read more

I have had many services at Skin Deep from Botox to Liposuction and every experience has been wonderful. They provide a clean and professional environment and their prices are extremely competitive. The owners really take the time to get to know you and understand your needs which is rare in that industry. I have recommended serval friends and family and they have all been extremely satisfied as well. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Patel is the best in town! read more

The Dr. here, (Dr. Patel) is not a plastic surgeon and therefor not on the board of plastic surgery (https://www.abplasticsurgery.org) He is an Anesthesiologist. Do your homework so that you don't end up with a botched surgery. read more

Horrible horrible experience at Skin Deep. I went for a breast augmentation consultation with that doctor Patel. I haven't done my homework to be honest and believed everything he and his staff was saying. My story is too long to put out here but, trust me, God was watching over me when I decided to cancel my surgery. FYI, breast augmentation surgery MUST be done under general anesthesia. That is the safest way to do it. But Dr. Patel performs BA surgery under local anesthesia only. Plus the price that he charges is a joke! Just for u to have an idea, I left his office and went to Beautology (13 years in a roll voted the best place here in Bako) and it was cheaper there!!!! If u ever went to Beautology, u know what I'm talking about. Skin Deep is totally unprofessional, from the moment u sit down and start the paperwork. His wife, that works there also, couldn't be more "money hunger" and "nosy". I couldn't believe how she was so rude and totally inappropriate handling my situation. Please, take in consideration this review and save yourself some headache or even health problems down the line. This dr. should NOT being practice in the medical field. Period. To be fair, the only nice and genuine person in that office is Christine, the receptionist. Poor girl to be working with such greedy couple. read more

I bought a photo facial through groupon for a whoopin 75$! I had a photo facial a month before and needed a another one. I need many due to my rosecea. So I called skin deep made a appointment didn't have much open and the gal wanted me to come in around 4:30 she said closing time is when they liked to do it. Whatever I went and it was weird. The first thing that came out of the receptionist mouth was there promotion they had 4 phl for 800$ I was shocked cause I feel that was a little pricey. So I ignored her. Dr wasn't that friendly seemed like he was in a hurry and started pushing me to buy the promotion and I'm like I'll see how this goes. He Didn't explain anything to me just slapped ice on my face covered my eyes and started lasering my face. Maybe about 5 minutes or less he was done. He was rough Didn't talk me through it and I was a little taken back by it. I couldn't wait to leave. All he cared about was pushing this dam promotion down my throat ! He could of spent more time lasering my face which regular time is about 15-30 min. I should of just spent the extra 100$ to see my other girl who photo facial. If this is your first time going to him and you bought a groupon good luck. He sucks and so does his staff read more

If there was an option to give zero stars this business would be a prime candidate! I purchased a coupon from this business on spottedfox.com. The coupon advertised $150 for one area of laser hair removal. Come to find out the business considers one underarm an "area" and half of your bikini line an "area". When I asked the business about this misconception they directed me to the fine print and were EXTREMELY RUDE! The woman on the phone yelled at me and cut me off multiple times. I received a full refund from spottedfox.com and will NEVER recommend this business to anyone!!! read more

This place is horrible! DO NOT go here! I purchased a deal online for 6 laser hair removal treatments on one area. I was then told when I got to my appointment that only one underarm or one side of your bikini line counted as one area. So they falsely advertised. You only get three treatments not six. Who wants just one under arm or one side of your bikini line done? I then later found out from a friend who experienced the same problem that they are not accredited with the Better Business Bureau! Several of my friends who were brave enough to call this business out on their false statements were yelled at and told to sue if they didn't like it! These people are not smart. They whole point of these online deals is to draw in new customers who wouldn't have otherwise have come to you. So Skin Deep's strategy is to lie to their new customers and then yelled at them for being upset that they were lied to. Smart business move.... I'm sure that is a great way to ensure they come back.... If you are considering this business or any of there services, consider yourself warned! read more
