This was a road trip of unknowns and the pay off was an experience like we've never had before. First was a phone call of inquiry of what we can expect. Very friendly and informative- " we will meet all your needs" The wine tasting experience was a fun, informative one. Equipped with "wine-tasting 101", we set out to enjoy the fruits of their labor..Awesome!! We followed the tastings with a tapa style lunch that went perfectly with the sights - rolling hillside vineyard to our right while we lazily rested on the maple tree shaded deck. Lunch of locally sourced meat and cheeses, delightful purple and yellow beans and tri tip steaks prepared as though we were royalty. So very grateful we had this experience. Try it!! Stopped in for a tasting of the local wines on July 5 2014. I was greeted by a woman at the front immediately. I asked about wine tastings and she promptly started serving me samples of their wines. The wines are delicious. The Autumn Tryst is easily the best wine BC makes, and the prices are very reasonable. I believe I walked out with 4 bottles. I regret not being able to stay for the Bistro, but we have our Jack Russel Terrier with us. Glad I stopped by, as we were travelling back to Calgary from Christina Lake and had not planned any stops. read more
