Skilled Attraction truly lives up to its name as a hidden gem. I worked primarily with Yasmine, the head matchmaker, though I know she has assistants utilized for coaching programs and other matchmakers for recruiting. I probably have the most unique story of all of Yasmine's clients. I initially reached out to her as she is a fellow Stanford alum. After a brief call, I signed on to her smaller matchmaking program. It was a mini program that allowed me to explore matchmaking without committing to the time and energy for a more intense program. First: I had a remarkable date with a gentleman Yasmine matched me with immediately. He was fit, funny, and handsome. We opted to do an activity date with mini golf followed by wine and small bites at a romantic venue For our second date we went on a picnic. He did the shopping, the cooking, the plating, and treated me like an absolute queen. It is hard to find men like that in our 50's! While we did not hit it off, I knew that dating men though Yasmine's mini service was helping me shift my priorities to take dating more seriously. A year later I signed on to Yasmine's more intensive program. Almost a month after that, I met this handsome, intelligent and very kind man at a get together. It was just a night out with my friends. Just a random night. Somehow it magically landed me my fiance. Yasmine is the one who encouraged me repeatedly to go out, have fun, do this, do that. She encouraged me gently many times to get out of my comfort zone. Was this a match from Yasmine? No. Would I have met him without Yasmine's service? I doubt it. Having access to her services in all its forms was life changing and I am so grateful to her. Many thanks to Yasmine and her team for making my dreams come true. read more

** Two different judges have ordered Yasmine to repay a combined $17,500 in the past 3 months** I have previously posted about my experience with Yasmine, but the information was becoming stale and less-relevant, so I removed that post in favor of this more concise statement regarding the same experience. Today was my long-awaited court date with Yasmine to compel her to pay the refund required by our contract, and I won. The judge ordered her to pay me $9,000. To make the backstory as brief as possible, Yasmine and I contracted in July 2022 for 5-6 matches in 14 months. I initially liked her and do think she has some good matchmaking skills but had the sense that she was overscheduled. She provided 2 matches in the remainder of 2022, but throughout all of 2023, the matches she offered were often well outside of our agreed-upon parameters, had grainy/distant/sunglasses-only photos, and in at least two instances were actual catfish. Her communication also dropped off with various excuses such as "emailing the wrong Erika," falling ill, or having "lost her voice" and unable to talk on the phone. Even still this was not a big problem. I was patient with her, mostly because she had already collected a substantial fee from me, but I was also busy myself. However, when 2024 came around, I reached out to her multiple times for simple updates with no answer. Then when an entire month went by with no word from Yasmine, I decided she was either too busy or simply not interested in working with me and asked for a refund, and she agreed. All still not a problem! We had cordial negotiations to start, but things deteriorated rapidly when we could not agree on the refund amount so at that point I figured the best option was to let a judge decide. And that he did to the tune of $9,000 in favor of myself. I am happy for the folks who have had good luck with Yasmine recently. I'd like to think the experience with me inspired her to improve on her self-admitted lacking communication skills. However, to anyone considering hiring Yasmine today, I suggest you consider the following: Although required, her business is not registered in the city of San Francisco or the State of California. This means that there is no official mailing address on file to accept service of process. If for whatever reason you and she are not a good fit, ask yourself: how will you get your refund if there is nowhere to serve court papers? She lost to me today, and this review is about my experience only, but there are *public* court documents available with similar stories - in particular one in Nov 2025 where Yasmine was ordered to pay $8500. That's $17,500 that the courts have ordered Yasmine to repay clients in the span of 3 months. Let's not forget 5 stars for the San Mateo and San Francisco County Superior Courts! read more

Skilled Attraction - Matchmakers Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

Yasmine was my and my friend's matchmaker years ago before she started this firm. She did tell us she was moving on to start this. She never picked a bad date. I was helping an acquaintance find a matchmaker and found this! What a perfect name!!!! What I learned from each match she made is how much more and many opportunities to love someone there were. Ironically, my friend and I wound up picking each other's husband. I hope we did you proud! :) read more

From day one, Yasmine, the head matchmaker at Skilled Attraction, treated me like a real person, not a number in a database or another client. She walked me through a full preparation period: a professional photoshoot (which I desperately needed), image consulting so I'd look my best on the photoshoot and on dates, and a deep conversation about my dealbreakers, values, and what I actually wanted in a partner. She even included extra coaching in my package, which helped me even to this day. Every month she found 3-4 genuinely great women -- the kind of matches I was excited for rather than felt obliged to meet. She personally interviewed each one, and I never felt pressured. On the rare occasion I said "no," she simply restarted the search with only a small penalty in relation to other matchmaker fees. She was also honest from the beginning with me that not everybody would say yes to my profile. That was okay too. What impressed me most was how personal the process felt. Yasmine remembered everything: my quirks, my fears, my preferences, even the things I didn't say out loud. She guided me through each step with kindness and honesty. She also diplomatically shared some of my concerns with my upcoming matches so there was transparency on both sides. I could see she deeply cared about both her client and their date equally enjoying the process. I expected this to take a long time or just be a stepping stone on my journey. But then... she found her. The woman who is now my wife. After so many years of being single, I'm married -- something I didn't think was possible for me anymore. Yasmine changed my life in a way I can never repay. There are two new women in my life now. My wife - and now our beautiful daughter. As such - I am and will always be - very thankful. FIVE STARS? I applied to Skilled attraction and have been a member of Yasmine's database for over 5 years. In that time I utilized some of her matchmaking on and off as she presented me with some excellent single women to date. Finally I jumped into a coaching program in 2025 and here are the results. This is my email to her which feels the most genuine way of portraying the experience: Yasmine, It seems like your job can be very rewarding at times. Helping someone find their soulmate and happiness seems pretty cool. It doesn't seem just about the paycheck from my vantage point. You also seem very personable and genuinely care about your clients. I want you to know that I took a lot of your advice/feedback and tried to apply that to my future dates. Meeting women was easy but, finding a connection was difficult. Analyzing my behaviors and things holding me back helped me to change some of my behaviors, etc. The net/net is that I met someone about 2 months ago. Early into our relationship I told Ms S that I planned to shutdown all of my dating apps and focus my attention on her and that I did not expect her to do the same unless she felt it or was ready. She said she felt the same way about me. I have to say that I really enjoyed stepping away from the dating apps, text messages, first dates and the "roller coaster" which I called dating. So, at this time, I am not actively looking to meet new people. Thank you sincerely for your help. read more

My husband hired Skilled Attraction/Yasmine in a moment of single genius and pure luck. He's very cautious by nature so it is nothing short of a small miracle he hired a matchmaker. I am an impatient person and she masterfully adapted to suit my needs. The speed with which she made this perfect connection happen was incredible (How does one know what is correct anyway? Talk about psychic). Yasmine is a matchmaker who earns her fees and then some! She is a talented, honest, and kind professional whose approach is built on genuine connection. She achieves exceptional results thanks to her remarkable blend of integrity, insight, and a wonderfully engaging communication style that makes the entire process relatable and enjoyable. Other reviews speak highly of Yasmine, and we wholeheartedly agree. We will be uploading photos soon--just as soon as we can agree on which one! Thank you, Skilled Attraction. We are forever grateful and truly blessed that you brought us together. read more

I've been part of Yasmine's matchmaking database for several years, and it's been an enlightening journey in self-discovery through dating. Yasmine is incredibly open, respectful, and kind. It's been a pleasure being part of her network. She took the time to understand my preferences and provided helpful advice and feedback after my dates. She was always responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. Her sweet personality made me feel comfortable being honest with her, which I truly appreciated. While none of the setups resulted in a relationship, I met many wonderful men along the way. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring matchmaker! Try joining her database if you just want to try things out and she will add you to her email list! read more

I came back to this Yelp page so that I could give my friend Yasmine's information and saw some of the reviews below and felt the need to chime in. I was a former client of Yasmine's. Yes, I did have to pay upfront and then have to have a photoshoot for better photos. I did not meet my current partner from an introduction with Yasmine, but I did meet my current partner because of her coaching. I met high quality singles from Yasmine that were NOT on apps or any other form of online dating, which I greatly appreciated. All of my matches were highly educated, white collar, handsome, polite, and very cool dudes even if there wasn't a spark. I'm sure Yasmine can confirm for herself - I wasn't really feeling them and I don't think the men were feeling me beyond a physical level. Yes, I was a client that Yasmine could not find that "love spark" for. I felt very discouraged and even took a break from dating while working with Yasmine. Yasmine always encouraged me to think positively, to think kind thoughts, and to remember that it's okay to want "the real thing". She never asked me to settle or compromise on what I wanted. She believed that I didn't need to change anything about myself or my wants to find true love, so I followed her lead and adopted her attitude. The funniest thing, the man that I am currently with for over 3 years looks exactly like one of the first men Yasmine matched me with. The man I am currently with could have never been in Yasmine's database, because he was someone already in my life in a non-romantic way. However, she empowered me to never settle and speak out loud what I wanted and that's exactly the man I have. I would have never been in this relationship if not for Yasmine's relentless (and sometimes outta nowhere, haha) optimism and unshakeable belief that you deserve to have the love that you want - whatever that looks like. I think if you are someone who goes into something like matchmaking with a little bit of healthy skepticism, surrenders control, and comes into it with an open heart, you will find the love you want with Yasmine. read more

Hands down the best matchmaking service. My partner and I hired Yasmine after a mutual dating dry spell and she was a miracle worker as others have stated. Married last fall. We look forward to updating when we have little ones on the way! We are so grateful! Apparently the odds of client to client matches are very low relative to client to database? We are unicorns among lovers. The irony is not lost on me as I made a caution based decision. Meaning, I was most looking forward to the recruiting capacities Yasmine offers at her firm. Having worked with other matchmakers in NY & LA I found the lack of diversity and options moderately frustrating. Yasmine was able to do more than the large but ultimately database-only driven companies through a series of concerted recruiting efforts. And, yet, in the end my soul partner was already connected to her company with no extra recruitment required. He will post his own POV. Summary: A spectacular service with Skilled Attraction. read more

Yasmine is dedicated as a matchmaker. I am lucky to have found her. So far going better than expected!

On the one hand: I can just say I've been married for 7 years and have one daughter due to this miraculous Matchmaker. On the other hand I understand that a short review can create more curiosity and leave questions unanswered. I will share as much as possible. My partner and I are both writing separate reviews because it has been 7 years of blissful marriage and one daughter later. All due to Yasmine. We are both now in our late 40s and meeting in our early forties was the deadline for having children and nothing short of miraculous that Yasmine made it happen. I do not use that word miracle lightly. We owe our entire familial happiness to this individual. I can't imagine how my life would have been otherwise. What makes the story even more, wildly, sumptuously, incredible is that my wife was actually a free database member. As for me, I was a paying client. As Yasmine said, most clients spend awhile dating unhappily...and then boom....They just know they need help. I was at that place. I felt from the very beginning that Yasmine wasn't out to simply match every client with other clients and finish her contracts. She found the perfect individual (whether they were a client or not) and she went above and beyond to consistently find genuinely kind, happy, decent, and of course beautiful individuals. Inside and out. Very grateful to Yasmine at Skilled Attraction and I am embarrassed it took a while to write this review. read more

Yasmine's matchmaking skills cannot be matched, and I know because I interviewed 6 professionals and immediately found her natural intuition would lead the way; her contract was also the only matchmaker actually addressing what and how she would achieve her client's goals, compared to others' contracts written with a risk averse focus. As a busy professional, my two years of playing the on-line dating game proved far too time consuming, and I knew a matchmaker would invest the time it would take to find a match for me ~ but I had no idea all of the creative ways Yasmine would find successful, interesting men for me to date. It is a cliché to say that she goes above & beyond, but it is also true that she is ultimately a caring person who seeks to bring like-minded people together. I'm currently dating someone who I would have never guessed would be a match, but thanks to Yasmine you can see by the smile on our faces we are both quite happy and very grateful for Yasmine bringing us together. Don't let Yasmine pass you by. read more

Skilled Attraction - Matchmakers Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

Wow I cannot believe it has been 7 years. My husband just wrote his review and I wanted to make mine separate. Our experiences were fantastic and admittedly unique given our haphazard dating background. But we never felt judged at any point by this lovely Matchmaker. We were both shocked at how beautiful and easy the experience was. One thing my husband didn't mention is that we had both been in shorter relationships repeatedly that never worked out. This was literally a miracle compared to our past experiences. I now have the most fantastic husband and the most beautiful child and I have Yasmine and the team at Skilled Attraction to thank. With my full heart. It is been an absolute pleasure working with this company and I am very grateful! With love, Sarah & David read more

What can I say about Skilled Attraction? First, Yasmine is AMAZING and EXTREMELY good at what she does. She has helped me on so many levels with dating and advice, and I don't think I could've found a better coach. During my confusing times with dating, when I needed her most, not only was she there for me, but she went above and beyond with helping me! If you are looking for an incredible matchmaker, I HIGHLY recommend Skilled Attraction. You won't regret it!!! read more

I wanted to let you know I am engaged. I wanted you to know that you helped me so much. You helped me a lot with your warmth, caring advice and direction. The photographer that you found Todd, as you know took amazing pictures of me, and he also took our engagement photos. We have so much in common it is crazy. I could not have asked for anything more...her intelligence, beauty (inside and out), loyalty, kindness and a non conformist (just like me) lol. When I first met your in our consultation and you did my ideal summary, she 100% met all the marks in my must haves and can't stands. I just wanted to thank you again so much for your caring spirit in wanting to help your clients find love. Without your direction, I don't know if I would have found her in the same way that I did. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! It was very important for me for you to know...because again I wanted you to know what happened with my journey and you were an inspiration to me. Realized this was 4 star and should have been 5. Thank you thank you again! read more

What an experience! This is my genuine and heartfelt humongous "thank you" (one of many to come!) to the woman who changed my life for the better! Without her clear guidance and hard work I would not be standing next to my hubby today! Yasmine, the matchmaker, and I "met" via her matchmaking website a few years ago and she made me feel at ease from our first call. She is a fantastic listener, warm, and intelligent with a keen eye for weeding out the most important (from my ramblings at least!!) The truth is I needed something to help me move forward after a devastating breakup. All I wanted was an experience or two "out there" that would make me hopeful again. And she delivered!! She made my dating experience far better than it was in the past. I met individuals who were kind, attractive, and intelligent. They also fit our parameters discussed initially in a long consultation. Yasmine was very vigilant about reviewing the details I shared with her that were non negotiable in a partner and then the "nice to haves" and "bonus" as she put it! However, as an unexpected bonus, one year down the line, she managed to find the man that is my other half!! We went on four dates the following week after we were introduced. Yup! That's how strong our chemistry was! Details aside, wow! I can't imagine what it must be like having to find people's soulmates on a consistent basis. I just know being on the receiving end is magical and wonderful. This review is so overdue. My hubby and I agreed to both write reviews this year in addition to our personal thanks. Meeting your soulmate is no small feat. Especially when dating is so impossible sometimes. Not to mention my personal trauma getting in the way. Someone else doing it for me is the most wonderful gift I could have received! Thank you so much!! Miss Yasmine you are a miracle worker. Thank you! Many hugs! - "Winnie" read more

If you have an interest in meeting someone but a lack of time to sift through the detritus that can be online dating, this is for you. Yasmine is skilled at listening and matching people for what they want and not just what they think they want. She's kind and trustworthy helping people get matched. Skilled Attraction also offers date consulting to help people who can't seem to move past Date One. Every time I've spoken with Yasmine, I've been impressed by her insight, empathy, and sweetness. I've recommended her to several people! read more

Two of the three matches that Yasmine found for me were close. The process of working with her and the timeliness was not great. At times she seemed very frustrated with me and made me feel as if I was being difficult. There were often long gaps without hearing from her. I signed to work with Yasmine in December (2018). Then we went back and forth about photos for a long time. She wouldn't start the search without the right photos. I sent her a ton. She didn't like any of them. She had a difficult time telling me what exactly needed to be different about them. Then I hired a photographer, but Yasmine said she didn't like the woman's aesthetic. So I had to hire another. That got us all the way until March (2019). I didn't actually meet my first match until May (2019.) As I was meant to have 5 matches, Yasmine extended the contract (I think it was initially 6 months) . This was great, but I was out of town for the summer and had planned on the contract being fulfilled before then. I returned to the city in August and had a match in October (2019). That didn't pan out. The next match I had wasn't until in January (2020). I didn't hear from her again until March (2020), when she sent me a profile of someone who did not meet the criteria she and I had come up with together. She agreed and said she would keep looking. I heard from her again in May (2020), but was again out of town for the summer. I haven't heard from her since then. Never once has she mentioned about how far outside the timeline this has gone. I do think she has skill in matching certain types of people. But the procedures and communication piece were mucky and awkward. read more

Words cannot express how THANKFUL I am to have met this gracious human being and her UNBELIEVABLE TALENT! She changed the course of my life with her work. She changed the course of my now FIANCÉ'S life with her work. She ALSO changed the life of my best friend and her loving boyfriend of three years.  As a "thank you" we all took her out for dinner in San Francisco.  It was the first time I met her in person.  She was as sweet as could be and was genuinely enthusiastic for all of us. It was wonderful!  I worked with Yasmine very early in her career.  When she was with a matchmaking startup.  I stayed with her when she transitioned to her own company.  It was amazing how she networked to build her database and how high her level of service was.  She matched me once a month without exceptions.  This was about five years ago when I was still young :) One of the best decisions of MY LIFE was to work with this wonderful human being. Yasmine is really the best at what she does. She does it with grace and kindness too. Fast forward four years later and because of her I am now engaged. By the way, my fiancé was matched only once - with me.  And my best friend was matched in three dates.  Three.  That is miracle work right there.  A BIG THANK YOU TO THIS WONDERFUL MATCHMAKER! Thank you from bottom of my heart.  From all of our hearts.  Your work and dedication truly touched us all.  P.s I will update this review after the wedding with another photo. I love Yasmine!! Having worked with Yasmine and two of her amazing and beautiful coaches, Iberia and Rebecca, at Skilled Attraction, I feel so much more confident and prepared going into a date now than I ever have before. For me, I'd say where I struggled the most was in reading my date and knowing whether or not she's interested and also knowing how to confidently express my interest through body language, eye contact, verbal cues, and touch. During our 1-on-1 sessions, Yasmine gave clear instructions on different techniques to try and went in depth in her evaluation on areas I did well and areas in need of improvement. It was amazing for me to hear what the dating experience was like on the receiving end. It really allowed me to get a clear and detailed perspective on how my actions were received and also offered opportunities to reach outside of my comfort zone. If you're looking to improve your dating game, I would highly recommend Yasmine's coaching program at Skilled Attraction. I feel like dating's one of those things where, unless you've had an older sibling or friend or someone to show you the ropes, you're just expected to learn on the playing field, and for some it comes more naturally than others. Admittedly, dating never really came naturally to me. My work with Yasmine has been invaluable and simply a great learning experience! read more

Yasmine is INCREDIBLE! I am so grateful for her guidance and intuition, and what I can only describe as a "magical" service! It started in Winter of 2016 - I had a "bridget jones" moment. I was asking myself, where do I want to be in 2017? The answer was: IN A RELATIONSHIP! Obviously. I was sick of being single. It was fun in my 20's. 30's? Not so much. 40's? NO. Hah! When I contacted Yasmine I was struck by a few things. First, she promised so much in TANGIBLES! I loved that I could have a dealbreaker list and an immediate refund or additional match if she made a mistake! I LOVED that she promised me a match within a certain height range and age range. Every step of the way I felt soooooo taken care of! She also has a wonderfully flexible photo policy. She told me some folks look way worse in photos (I hear you sister) and she always recommended no-photos to start the service. At first I was a bit worried but I TRUSTED her and I'm so so glad I did! Every match was pretty yummy! (hah! I hope they're not reading this) The man that absolutely stole my heart is here as I write this! He was a client of Yasmine as well and sends his love! In case you're interested, we both met after just a FEW introductions! In Matthew's case, two! (lucky bugger!) In my case, four! (I know, lucky me!) Our first date lasted FOUR HOURS and the wine bar Yasmine chose us for us to meet in was fantabulous! Our second date - that lasted over 24 hours. Long story haha! Anyway I think that's enough detail. We both want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Big hug! read more

I've never written reviews before, but feel obligated to post this one. Yasmine was very pleasant and complimentary when we first spoke and offered attractive promises before I signed up. I paid Yasmine $3600 for 5 dates over 6 months. A month and a half later without a pipeline, she tried to talk me into meeting someone who was still married. I didn't agree to do so. Three months into it, I only got one date that I knew wouldn't work even before I met him. I mentioned it to her, but she insisted that I meet him because she had made arrangements. When we discussed it afterwards, she said that I could get a refund if things don't work. That was comforting and later turned out to be the peak of my experience working with her. Afterwards, she became more diligent and sent me profiles of a few people who clearly wouldn't be matches. At this point, I knew that her supplies and skills were not as strong as her claims, so I asked for a refund. That's when things changed. She didn't want to give me a refund but wanted to do a second search. After a long call, she finally agreed. About a month later, she only offered to refund a disproportionally small amount. So after 6 months, all I got was this one very expensive date that I didn't even want to meet. A brand-new iPhone Xs 512GB plus a 12.9-inch iPad Pro together are still cheaper than what I paid to Yasmine for nothing. If you think this was just a hit or miss and I was just unlucky, check out the last email she wrote to me. "Saying you want to resolve things amicably and then threatening me with further action? Ok - you are welcome to take any action you like. I am under no obligation to offer you any refund. This communication style reflects very poorly on you. FYI I am also under no obligation to keep you or your behavior confidential and will not hesitate to defend myself if you spread falsities." Yes, if you want to waste money and time and then deal with someone who threatens to breach confidentiality, give Yasmine a try! read more

Holy Snaps!!! Yasmine is amazing to work with. I have worked with many matchmakers, dating guru's, life coaches, and self proclaimed online dating coaches and you know what? Yasmine is one of the absolute best and she is a dedicated matchmaker. Here is one thing she does differently. She doesn't just listen to solve a problem to get your money, she listens with all her empathy and her entire heart to truly understand you as a person to give you the best results. She wants to match you with the best person! I attended one of her seminars and during it, I spoke to a few guys there on what they wanted to get out of it. One of the guys who ended up working with her one on one ended up getting matched within a few months. Talk about results! Do I recommend Yasmine? YES. This service is one of a kind and has a true depth to it. I feel blessed to have found it. I would give Yasmine Ashuraey, the matchmaker of this service, and Skilled Attraction, 10 stars if Yelp allowed it. To start, I want to share my background. I am a San Francisco native and a freelancing consultant with a fairly high standard of living. I had been single for one year and feeling stagnant when I decided to get some help. I did wonder if I would be un-helpable. Yet whether or not I felt I was...was irrelevant. Yasmine Ashuraey offered me remarkable introductions. I "graduated" faster than I expected. I was highly impressed and sincerely happy with her service and professionalism. This matchmaker is clearly a networker and very immersed in Bay Area circles. My fiance and I were thrilled at an otherwise unlikely meeting (wedding set for September of this year). It was love at first sight for me. I give my many thanks to this dedicated matchmaker. read more

I wanted to update my review for Yasmine's services. Two days ago I celebrated my two year anniversary with my girlfriend, and I received a really kind email from Yasmine checking in on the progress of our relationship. When I said that working with her was like having a new best friend, I wasn't kidding! It's like the universe created her as an equal and opposite reaction to companies treating their clients like garbage. Trust me when I say that she truly cares about you and your romantic success. With Yasmine there's no judgement. She isn't there for your friends, or your parents, or your social group - she's there to advocate for YOU, and believes in your happiness. I fairly recently referred a friend to her and - lo and behold - she helped him meet an amazing girl. I REALLY look forward to not having to hear him complain about his awful dating choices in the future! So Yasmine, thank you! Thank you for making it easier to hang out with my buddy, and thank you for making it happen for me. To anyone reading this review - if you're on the fence, send me a Yelp message! I'd give her ten stars if I could. read more

Yasmine is great at what she does!!! :) I had a fabulous experience with Yasmine and her team; although I was nervous about taking this big leap. Highlights - After going back and forth with Yasmine on my ideal partner, I realized my focus had started to shift towards hope. Then excitement. Overall I felt like something great was going to happen. And guess what - I was right! - best fact first on the service. Her fees are really low for matchmakers anywhere. Maybe half or less of the norm? - I was matched once a month - I got feedback, she planned my dates, listened and delivered each time! But what I most appreciated about Yasmine was her intuition. Hands down - how can you explain that she matched me with my perfect man in under 3 months? This man is now my boyfriend of 6 months and by far the most promising relationship I've ever had. I am in awe of Yasmine and her unique skill set based on how quickly she helped me! Great job matchmaker Yasmine!! read more

I am posting this review because my wife (yes, that's correct, my wife - https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/29/fashion/weddings/dora-rivas-jay-kim.html) and I are so indebted to Yasmine for introducing us about a year and a half ago. I cannot imagine it always works out quite as magically and quickly as it did for us, but I can say without hesitation that whether you are someone who is open to a long-term committed relationship or just looking to spark your dating life by trying something new, or anything in between, you should give Yasmine a call. I had never tried online dating and always preferred meeting women organically, through set-ups or meeting in bars. As my friends got older and had families, I wasn't being set up as much. And as I got older, I wasn't going out to bars as much. I was also relatively new to San Francisco, and so I thought I would give an off-line matchmaker a try. Yasmine's Yelp reviews were mostly very positive, but I actually hired her because I was impressed that she cared enough about her business and what people were saying about her that she responded thoroughly, with a mix of thoughtfulness and feistiness, to the few negative reviews that were here. I had a couple of phone calls and a FaceTime call with Yasmine where she got to know me and what I was looking for. I found her to be approachable, lively and easy to talk to. She was professional but friendly...which I imagine is a balance that is important to strike in the matchmaking business. Three additional specifics that were impressive to me, both at the time and in hindsight: 1. She doesn't just tell you what you want to hear. She was upfront about telling me that women of a certain age were too young for me if I was interested in a serious relationship. 2. She's running a business but is not just looking to squeeze every last dollar. My now-wife looked into hiring Yasmine, but after consultation, Yasmine agreed with her that the right next step was not for her to take her money, but to put her into her database of potential matches. 3. She's truly looking to make the right match, not just engaging in a volume game and hoping something sticks. It took her about a month after I hired her to match me with someone...and that someone turned out to be the love of my life. In any case, my first date with my now-wife was 4+ hours...which is saying something because I'm not that talkative. Within a couple months, we were in love and traveling to Europe together. Within 7 months of meeting, we were engaged. And a little over a year after we met, we were married. I say simply and without equivocation that this was the best money I have ever spent. My agreement with Yasmine was that she was to set me up with a minimum of six women...and it turned out she only set me up with one -- the perfect one. So I actually cannot speak to the entire process of working with Yasmine, given our interaction was relatively brief. But whatever mix of intuition, experience and algorithm went into how she matched me with the love of my life...it worked like magic. read more

Yasmine has been a wonderful, very caring, skilled and supportive advisor and guide in navigating the challenging but ultimately rewarding process of finding the right relationship and love in life. From my experience, the process of dating, falling in love and building a successful, caring relationship involves much more than making a match - there is that important process of getting ourselves prepared - doing our own work to enable the right relationship and love. Yasmine has been supportive and thoughtful in guiding that important preparation process. I've very much appreciated Yasmine's intuitive sense of need and timing and her patience in both guiding but also waiting when I've needed to navigate my own juggling in life. I'm very appreciative and whole heartedly recommend Yasmine and would encourage consideration of the Skilled Attraction services. read more

RESULTS after 5 months: I really wanted to like the owner. Unfortunately, her resistance to working closely with the client after the sale is a 'working' paradigm doomed from the start. It was a complete waste of over $2,200 and precious time over the course of 5 months. Clients do not get to see their matches! You read that correctly....not until the actual first date and THAT counts as a Match. She's under the false impression that based only on a Skype video chat that she will get to know you enough to match you, then winnow down the results from there. She also completely missed on several other key points. Moreover, her database of matches appears to be disproportionately filled with her friends, not recently discovered matches...or she makes basic mistakes in vetting the match. The other unfortunate aspect of her service is you can't talk to her once she has your money. (sporadic) Email only!...and although she promises 'touching base' every 2 weeks, you can go a month and not hear anything from her. This would have been fine if she could have delivered one single match that actually clicked but she ultimately failed on all of her claims. What would have made this so much more effective (since her interviewing is clearly not thorough enough) is to send photos of the proposed match to the client for review. This would help both the service and the client get what they want so much faster, but I suspect that she feels she would have to work harder in the event that the client doesn't like what he sees. Yet, laughably, she shares the clients photo(s) with the match! This is the 'shield' she uses with her Skype interview - as if THAT would capture everything she should need to provide you with a finite set of matches. It doesn't work. I also gave her a considerate opportunity to own up to her shortcomings in the matches and she (of course) disappeared - with my money and time spent trusting her 'service'....and then sent a vitriolic response - days later. Shame and sham. Overall, she was embarrassingly unprofessional. (Expensive) lesson learned. Stay away from this fly-by-night "business". It cannot survive with this work ethic and you do not want to waste your time and money. If this Millenial wants to do well in America, they would do well to heed the tried and true American business axiom, "the Customer is always right". Learn it and you may prosper. read more

I spoke with Jasmine on texts at first, she sound nice, but then seem judgmental. We had texts conversation for a phone interview, then we made an appointment once for phone interview, but I totally forgot/missed the time for interview, and I told her sorry I forgot, I got a new puppy and took lots more work than I thought. Then I was asking which day is good for 2nd phone interview appointment ? We didn't confirmed what day, I just was giving her when my available days that week, then since we didn't confirm, I gave her option how about Saturday is better for me too. Then she replied me, told give me red flag. Idk whats her problem, I thought a life coach and matchmaker should be helpful for busy people, also understanding situation instead pushing away. So un-friendly, sound like easy to get trust issues, and judgmental. read more

I signed up to one of Yasmine's workshop and after working with her less than 6 months met my soul mate. We are a happy couple now. Yasmine is an amazing matchmaker. She coached me and gave me more confidence in following my hearts passion. 5 star recommendation. read more

Please look elsewhere. I paid a full subscription fee and received one date, found my husband through another connection, and was promised a refund by Ms. Ashuraey for unused services. After several email discussions about my request, I was instructed I had to wait until a new customer signed up to receive it. After 7 months of waiting and regular requests, a refund was never received so I hired a lawyer to send a formal letter and hired a PI to locate Ms. Ashuraey to serve documents for a small claim. What was discovered was that Skilled Attraction is not a registered business in California and a judgement had occurred between another customer and Ms. Ashuraey in Santa Clara Court for not paying a refund. What was equally upsetting in this process was the unprofessional email and verbal responses once formally requesting funds to be returned (that follow the statements outlined in the Terms and Conditions in the PayPal contract). It's been over 13 months since my initial request for a refund from Ms. Ashuraey which has yet to be received. I recommend finding assistance elsewhere. read more

Although I am not a client at Skilled Attraction, I recently went on a date with one of their clients. I guess that would make me the match. I had never heard of "professional matchmakers" and was a bit apprehensive when they reached out to me. After talking with Yasmine on the phone I was more at ease. She took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for. She was also very upfront & direct about the process, which was very simple. My date seemed to value her firm's services and we had a good dynamic. Although he and I were not a match (ya never know until it happens), it was still a pleasant experience : ) read more

Yasmine is a very kind and caring person whose advice has inspired a lot of hope for my love life. Her sessions are helping me overcome my shyness while providing me with important tools for dating (such as first impressions and the art of conversation). My most recent session with her included editing my online dating profile. She wrapped up the session by helping me craft a message to an attractive woman on Ok Cupid, and I had a date lined up within the week. With Yasmine's help, I am confident I will be able to find that special someone in my life. read more

Yasmine totally, unequivocally knows what she is talking about. Her advice and coaching really helped me rethink my approach to dating in a way that no one has ever been able to before. She provided me with some terrific 1on1 coaching sessions (which were both fun but also thought-provoking) and set me up on two terrific dates. Most importantly, I now have the tools and abilities to go into the dating world with confidence and self-awareness. I highly, highly recommend you check out Yasmine! read more

Yasmine is phenomenal at matchmaking!  She also happens to be a very nice, highly professional individual which made this whole process seamless.  Absolutely seamless.  I tip my hat to her as does my significant other in absolute gratitude.  She likely saved us years of therapy and searching. Short version of my personal experience. Yasmine interviewed me, and, after concluding she could take me on as a client, experimented with dates slowly and carefully for me.  She took care of absolutely everything and was extremely thorough with feedback so she could improve for the next month.  When I met the now-love of my life I couldn't believe it at first.  Neither could she.  I felt ecstatic and still do!  I joked with Yasmine that I wouldn't want to share how quickly she did it lest every other prospective client get their hopes up.  But I will just say this: I was expecting a year given my preferences and the expectations she set.  We lucked out in under 6 months.  And that is all I will share for now in addition to my praises for her humor and kindness. Now, a direct note to Yasmine: dear Yasmine, I know I emailed you already but publicly stating now that I am eternally grateful for your help and the happiness you have provided me and R. Thank you!  We will always see you as a good friend. read more

Yasmine is caring, warm hearted and personable! I was sent pictures and profiles of a few guys that I thought would be interesting and come to find out that they are as they were represented. She really cares about her clients and she is really really great at what she does. She is always available to give advice before and even after dates, checks in with me and I can tell she really loves what she does, which is why she's so great at it. read more

Yasmine is very caring and great at what she does. I only met with her a few times and we focused on online dating. She really helped me tweak my profile and I saw a huge difference in how people responded to me. I was finally able to get regular replies and dates. She broke it down and helped me look at my profile from a female perspective. I'm dating someone I really like now, and have Yasmine to thank! read more

Yasmine is a genuine and truly caring person, and it shows in the way she carries her role as a matchmaker. I went on a date with one of her clients, and although the elusive chemistry was not there, the date was light hearted, honest and authentic. I encourage you to connect with her and open your self to another way in which you might meet that special some one. read more
