However, if you have short, fat and sweaty feet (requiring a decent sock) your toesies may not suit some of the lasts (and that was a conversation in itself). Also, they are not the cheapest shoe in the world. However, the 20% off all stock drew me in today and the very kind staff kept me there. There were boxes everywhere at one point. I did settle on a pair and there was an attempt to upsell some socks. But all good, as I explained, not only was I wearing socks, I had plenty of other pairs at home. I suppose it is like a "would you like fries with that" when getting a hamburger, "would you like socks with that" when getting shoes.
