Rude customer service!!!
unexpectedly I received a Message on my cellphone that I was charged 188.24 EUR on my Credit Card for a reservation 5 months ago!!!
After talking to 3 of their customer representatives finally one told me that i received this charge because of an upgrade during my car rental in December 2018. I remember very well that I was told at Stuttgart Airport at their branch there was a voucher for me for a free upgrade. Apparently that was fine until now : 5 months later!!!!
Because I have never had anything happen like that I thought it was fraud and even before calling Sixt I panicked and blocked my credit card. Now I have to go thru the process of waiting for a new credit card and not having a credit card because of their ridiculous billing. And something that it is not right!!!
I have been a loyal customer for years. Even decided to give Sixt another chance after I was given a ML Mercedes in Los Angeles in 2017 that didn't have any oil in it!! However I took care of it, bought oil and made sure their mechanics error didn't cause any long term damage to your vehicle.
I was reimbursed the money for the oil and everything was fine. But this is ridiculous.
And despite of all of that they would rather not reimburse my money and lose a long year customer. Ridiculous!!!! read more
