I did get one call, which I missed, and she texted as well. Through texting, we set up an appointment for my one dog and when I asked about the other one, she clarified the name for my first pup and said she had the wrong number and that she "might have an opening next week" for mine, despite having already booked out the appointment. When I texted her asking which day and time, she ghosted me. Despite multiple attempts since then to contact her, she won't reply. Not the best way to run a business.

Also, most of the work is done in the open and the dogs can move freely when they're not being groomed, except the bathing. Recently they added a dog daycare too. My dog has sensitive skin so they give her a medicated shampoo. She also needs regular grooming because she's a non-shedding breed (Airedale Terrier -- W00T terriers!). The prices are on par with other groomers, but they have a regular visit plan which is a great savings. My dog comes out looking and smelling great, and she's calm, which is a marked change from other groomers who crate the poochies when they're not being groomed. Also, Barks N Bubbles has a lovely pet boutique with lots of yummy doggie treats, leashes, food, and even costumes!

I feel blessed to have found Gary at a time when we were planning a last minute trip and needed someone to reliably care for our brood of cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. From our first meeting, I knew Gary was someone who loves animals and is truly concerned for their well-being. Our cats immediately liked Gary as well (always a good sign). Gary is very knowledgeable on pet care, which given our variety of pets was greatly appreciated. Gary routinely went above and beyond what was expected and delivered high-quality service. He is incredibly thoughtful and forward thinking, offering to help us out beyond simply pet care, but also ensuring we had lights on timers...checking through the house for security...taking care of shoveling as needed, and finally reporting to us regularly with photos of our pets. Not only that, he has always responded promptly when I've sent an email or text so that I could relax and rest easy. We returned home to see he had also vacuumed and swept so that we didn't have to deal with a floorful of bedding! It can be a difficult decision to leave your pets in charge of someone you don't know. You can rest easy with Gary, you and your pets are in capable and compassionate hands!
