Clarke Square

This is one place I can honestly say has employment opportunities. The opportunity to grow, build,…read morenetwork and land a full time job with no hesitation. The requirement is come to work and we send you to work. I love it. It changed my life.

I was told by my job coach to go over to this staffing place to ask about a job I got there and…read morethey had me fill out a w2 and 4 and a whole app as I soon found out they don't offer guaranteed permanent jobs but do offer work. Initially they offered me a wedding server job but then sent me to a garlic Factory but I specifically am not looking for food.jobs. I bumped my leg while turning around to quickly grab garlic bread off the conveyer belt which hurt longer than it should have on my shin. I never once was talked to about what kind of work I'm really looking for. I also never was asked to return but sent over by text a form to be hired at this garlic factory but I'd of liked at least a formal conversation about whether I'd want to instead of a just here hep fill this out. Staffing place like this needs better communication with me. Other than this I do think there is a need for people to work and get money just not sure hopping around from one job to another like a darn marionette is the way to go about and do so... on top of it they asked how my work week was at the factory as if they had had a conversation of me returning we didn't definitely something off about their company but I do respect what they are doing for the community...

I also was treated POORLY . I believe in my case it was AGE discrimination…read more I went through the whole process and I was told everything was good to go and to wait for a call the following week. Following week no call back so, I phoned them and the individual that took care of me told me " I didn't tell you I was giving you a call back." Mind you I had GREAT referrals. I got a decent paying job thru KELLY services.

Let me be the first to tell you about this tripe-visaged, dirt-rotten cappochia of a company:…read more I had just left my last job when I made the ill mistake of applying for a job through this temp agency. The first thing they hound you about are your references. Mind you that they only want supervisors as your references and they want five. In the past year I haven't even made eye contact with five people, let alone asked for their phone number. They then relentlessly call every single reference until they get ahold of them. In the meantime, they want more references if the others don't answer! I don't know if this company thinks I'm Donald Trump, or some shit, but I haven't had that many supervisors at 24. After they attempted contact with the rest of the human race, their next issue was this: temps using public transportation. I'm well aware that Milwaukee is not the equivalent of Chicago but both cities rely heavily on public transportation. There are about 140,000 people that use MCTS DAILY. Out of 600,000 people in Milwaukee, that's nearly a third of the population riding those buses each day. Aerotek must've forgotten how math works when they refused to send my resume ANYWHERE because I use public transportation. I'm overqualified for a good majority of what they offer but I ride the bus. Aerotek must've also forgotten how money works because cars cost money. So if someone is working at a decent wage they're probably more likely to buy a vehicle. This will come as a shock to this company but a lot of bus riders are more reliable than those driving to work. I should move to Chicago where this would probably be discrimination. My third and, hopefully, final issue with Aerotek is that they have no idea how to follow through. They're the equivalent of a bad boyfriend. You know that significant other that never returns your text or does so three to five business days later? This is Aerotek. Except they won't even bother sending a 'k.' They will blatantly ignore any and all contact from a temp looking for work. Miss their call by thirty seconds? Guess what? No job for you! I think the best part of dealing with this company are the attitudes you get if they finally answer the phone. If I wanted to talk to a rotten bitch then I'd head over to Riverwest and yell into a crowd that I eat red meat and my milk isn't organic. Please, by all means, avoid this company. If you're desperate for work it may seem tempting but don't do it. The last thing an unemployed person needs is to be treated like shit while simultaneously looking for a job; it's disheartening.
