Last year it won the award for best curry house in St Helens and unless there is a gem I do not know of, it must have won it easily. The food is well priced, about six to nine quid for a main course (excluding sundries). The curry is very good, and the service was charming when I went, it seemed emotionally important to the waitress that we did not have to wait on our ale. The drinks are taken care of by the attached pub. The Merlot was very good, the ales included Jennings and Black Sheep. Very nice indeed.

Every drink order we placed had to be re-requested at least once, and they had it easy on the food orders because 4 of the 5 of us ordered the same thing.
