Purchasing a mattress for me is liking going to the dentist, I know it's good for me but doesn't excite me. We've been customers of this location for 20 years, having purchased a few mattresses through the years. Loretta Waller made the experience pleasant and easier to understand. She patiently explained the differences in types, firmness, etc. and spent about an hour with us while we "tested" mattresses. She wasn't pushy and left us alone sufficiently to test and discuss, but was always nearby if we had questions. She was genuine and friendly. If you're in the market, stop by and ask for Loretta. Thank You Loretta! read more

I went in to buy a mattress and I had the pleasure to be in contact with Mr. Tommy from the Palmdale store. He was extremely helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable and very patient. It took about a week for the deal to go thru from my personal circumstances and Mr. Tommy was more than understanding with the situation. He also made some considerable changes according to the mattress that I wanted due to it to being not in stock so and offered me a great mattress for a great price. I couldn't be more than satisfied with his efforts and recommend this salesman and this store to anyone in looking to get a new mattress/bed. read more

Sit 'n Sleep - Luxury Hybrid Cool mattress. - Mattresses Near Me - Palmdale, California

Great experience. Manny was able to meet our needs and within our budget!! But what was most impressive is that he did it without pressure. Thanks Manny!! Originally had 5 stars on this but had to change to three. Delivery was set for today. We were getting our continued updates with delivery time. Last one came saying in 30 minutes. After an hour, we called to check on it. We were only then advised that our mattress was not even in stock!! We had already stripped our existing bed to be ready for the new mattress. We had set back our plans for the day waiting for this delivery. They didn't even call us, WE had to call them. VERY UPSET with this whole situation right now. Sorry, Manny, the original great experience has been long forgotten. read more

Replaced my queen size Tempurpedic bed with a split adjustable Cal King and was extremely satisfied with the sales and service at Sit 'N Sleep in Palmdale. Matthew answered my questions in the shop and, for reference, looked up the firmness of my current bed that I bought from Sit 'N Sleep in 2008. Delivery and installation by T50 Hector and Fernandez (253035358) was prompt and professional. They even carried my old mattress and box spring to the garage for me (too good still to throw away). read more

In the look of a new mattress in the AV area? Make sure you see Daryl at Sit'nSleep in Palmdale. His attention and service was espectacular. He never rushed us to make a decision nor enforce any mattress in particular. He adviced us in terms of back support and matress firmness. To top it all he gave us a great price. Definitely pay a visit and ask for Daryl. read more

Im giving a 3 star for this visit because of Tommys help and more understanding and but the first guy that helped us, Manuel Amaro is so rude and do not go to him. He is disrespectful when we needed to exchange and upgrade when we spoke with corp regarding the exchange they told us it was fine to bring it in and do the upgrade. Manuel being so rude to us and when we said we can call the corp here he said do what you want im going to walk away. No people skills talked over us, just kept saying he cant help us and he walked away to help someone else. i do not recommend going to him. Go to Darryl or tommy cause they are only one to seem to at least help with no attitude and no disrespect. read more

Both Adam and Stanley were great in suggesting options. Bed was delivered the next day by Andres and Fern and both were efficient and professional. They did a great job setting up my new bed. This is the first time I've ever owned a platform and headboard rather than a box spring and bed frame. I feel like an adult! read more

Wife and I just left Sit'n Sleep. We purchased a mattress 12 years ago from them and loved it. A couple of months ago my wife thought it would be best to buy a bed in a box. It came in and it sucked. They will not come and get it and it has turned into an ordeal. We went to Sit'n Sleep and spent 20 to 25 minutes with Daryl Dunning. He was super helpful and by this time tomorrow our new mattress will be here. Sweet dreams and goodnight. read more

If you're looking for a place to purchase a mattress with AMAZING customer service, this is the place to go to! I swear, these guys (Tommy, Danny, and Matt) must know about picking the right bed and getting good sleep because they're in such a good mood/relaxed when helping you. Danny was the service representative that helped me out and with their analysis tool, I was able to figure out which beds worked best for my side sleeping style. It was cool because I never felt like they were pressuring to buy any specific mattress and Danny worked with me to find something that fit my budget. I was happy with what I got, and I will definitely recommend Sit 'n Sleep to any of my friends and family looking to buy a new mattress! Thanks, Danny! read more

We bought a mattress oct.2021. Spent 1200$ and thought it's going to be worth the money. My husband (175lbs) started sinking into his side a couple months in. After they came out a week ago and saw that it's far more than 1,5 inch we just received an email there's nothing they can do because our bed frame is the issue. I wonder why only his side is sinking in. We informed our sales person before purchasing the mattress which bedframe were using. They might offer a discount when buying a new mattress. I feel scammed! Come on 1200$ and not even a year in we need a new one? This got to be a joke! UPDATE: After we complained on social media they reached out to us. We got full credit on our mattress. Today 9/6/22 we went to the Palmdale store and had the pleasure with the Sleep Consultant TOMMY SMITH. He did everything to make us happy!!! I wish he would have been our Salesman the first time! The new mattress is coming on Saturday the 9/10/22 without any charges for the delivery. Staff like TOMMY SMITH are the proof that customer satisfaction is important to that company! TOMMY SMITH can sell us a mattress any day! You rock! read more

Patience and Excellent Service 7 years ago we purchased from Sit n Sleep, having a positive experience we thought we would go back. Immediately we were nade to feel at ease. Loretta greeted us at the door, in a face mask and took our temps before assisting us. We wanted a king size extra firm mattress, we never did give Loretta a price range or max budget, Loretta started to show us several options. All inner spring or hybrid mattresses no pillow-top never steering us or hard selling. Her choices for us were all excellent, 4 mattresses any of which we could have been happy with. It came down to warranty and features. Infinity Hybrid on an adjustable base. In addition the extended warranty on the motor, the mattress protector which we love. I will review the bed in a few weeks, this is about the really good customer service, the patience but mostly the listening. See people don't buy mattresses on a whim, they are not luxury purchases. If someone shops for a bed and mattress they need it. Easy for a salesperson to push to hard. Not Loretta, she didn't sell us. She presented options and let us ask questions. Never did she mention the price of something, she let us ask. This was a safe and pleasant experience. My husband and I would recommend Sit n Sleep and Loretta to friends and family. If you worry about Covid. They take extra precautions for you. read more

Went to Sit 'n Sleep to shop for a queen size mattress. Loretta greeted my husband and I and asked want we required in a new mattress. She gave us the test where we laid on a bed and asked us questions about our sleeping patterns which she analyzed. She then explained the different levels of mattresses that were available. She showed us a few that we were interested in that would fit our needs and price range. Loretta was very patient with us and did not try to upscale us to A higher level. She was very helpful . We both agreed upon a new mattress . To be honest, I knew we were going to find one there, that day. From the onset, Loretta treated us wIth respect aNd graciousness. Delivery and set up went smoothly as well. read more

Loretta Walker was helpful. We went in just to look for a new bed, however she helped us with a frame and bed we could afford. Very friendly

We were in the area after an Easter party and thought we'd take a look since we desperately needed a new mattress. Daryl greeted us and could tell we needed some help. He had us try the sleep match bed that evaluates your sleep preferences and your body to find the right bed for you. It's color coded and I came up gold (super super soft) while my SO came up green (super soft). Daryl showed us 3 different beds within the green range at 3 different price points to give us an idea of what our options. He didn't hover or rush us, really made us feel comfortable and allowed us to try as many beds as we wanted after showing us his recommendations. Unfortunately, we didn't purchase from him because we needed to save for this big purchase, but 10/10 would buy from him in the future and recommend him to anyone in the Palmdale/Lancaster area looking for a mattress. read more

Darryl is really cool and helped us find the right mattress. We were very overwhelmed with all the mattress possibilities, there are mattresses at every turn. I was shocked with all the mattress knowledge he had. We gave him what kind of mattress firmness we wanted, what kind of price we were looking for and he gave us the options. The store had many options and in the end we were happy that we could try them all out on the floor. I've never actually visited a mattress store to buy a mattress and this was a great experience. read more

Tommy was great no pressure and very knowledgeable. We walked in and wanted to make sure we were purchasing the correct mattress. They had the best variety and confirmed we wanted an extra firm mattress. So we went back to Tommy, so I recommend don't waste your time and go directly to Sit n Sleep and ask for Tommy! Thanks!!! read more

I am a 65 year old hippy who's waterbed broke for the last time yesterday. I had a genuine dilemma - I haven't slept on a regular mattress for 40 years! Walked into this store, and my first thought was, "too many beds to choose from". Daryl, the salesperson who helped me was wonderful! Walked me through every step - (if you are in the market for a mattress, you've got to try the sleep diagnosis bed-pretty cool). He showed me every bed that fit my sleep preferences, and was patient with me as I went back and forth between a few beds trying to decide which I preferred. He was very forthcoming in discussing the pro's and con's of each bed I looked at, and when I finally narrowed it down to 2, he was very honest and informative about their customer ratings and satisfaction levels. He made the process really comfortable and hassle-free. I recommend Daryl and this store highly. read more

Our first experience at Sit n Sleep and it was a good one. We were promptly welcomed by Tommy. We told him what we were looking for and he pointed in the right direction to explore all the options they had to offer. He proceeded to assist he previous customer while we explored the mattresses but came by every so often to answer questions or provide suggestions. We loved that he wasn't pushy to sell a specific mattress. After testing the variety of firm mattresses and comparing reasonable prices, we made our decision and the check out process was very simple. Not to mention our purchase included delivery the very next day and haul away of our old mattress. Thank you Tommy and Sit n Sleep for making this an easy process. read more

First I wanted to say that the Palmdale store takes extra care in taking temperature and making sure everyone was safe to come in the store. My boyfriend and I went looking for a bed, I have purchased a bed from Sit 'n Sleep in 2015 which I was very happy with. Our salesman was Tommy at the Palmdale store, very understanding took his time, showed us different options but we finally picked the perfect bed. read more

Went in looking because other shops were over priced or the salesmen were hovering and being overbearing. Matthew off the bat understood and gave us space but suggested we try to bed assessment. At first it seemed like a gimic but after everything was done it was able to point us in the right direction and in the end we only had to test 2 beds. All in all we were in and out in 30 minutes with our new bed delivered next day. Super easy process and very friendly without being too sales-y. Would definitely go back and recommend to family. read more

Sit 'n Sleep - Mattresses Near Me - Palmdale, California

Very disappointed with Sit 'n Sleep. We have purchased mattresses from this store located in Palmdale CA for the past 15+ years. We purchased a Simmons king size mattress in 2017. This was supposedly a very good mattress. We paid $2,250. In less than two years the mattress started to dip. I called the store they put me in contact with Precise Mattress Inspection. They promptly came out to do the inspection. The mattress clearly showed signs of dipping. I have all the paperwork when I originally purchased the mattress. I never received the inspection report. When I called the Palmdale store they told me the claim was rejected due to the tag being removed. I asked for a copy of the report and Loretta proceeded to read it to me. This store is on the pricey side but I have always tried to support local business. Customer service is most important to me. Sometimes the product for whatever reason doesn't hold up however if the company stands behind their product I would continue to support them. This store will no longer be getting my business nor will I give any recommendations for them. read more

My husband and I came in looking to upgrade our mattress after 15 years. Loretta helped us get on the bed match technology and find a new bed that was absolutely perfect for us. She helped us find a bed within our price range and even worked with us in order to get us into the bed we really wanted, which was also a much better deal then we were originally quoted by Ashley furniture across the street. We even walked away with new pillows and a mattress cover! I can't thank her and Sit 'n' sleep enough. We will finally be able to sleep peacefully and comfortably. I highly recommend the amazing customer service Loretta provided us with if you are in the market for a new bed. read more

I am prematurely writing this review as my mattress will not be delivered until Friday, hopefully that goes as smoothly as the purchase. Tommy is the man to see! He was informative, answered all my questions and not once put on the sales pressure. I wasn't expecting to walk out of there with a new bed so quickly but Tommy made the process so easy I could not resist, he even answered my husbands questions over FaceTime! Like I said I was "looking". I'm hoping to not need another bed for at least 10 years but if I do Tommy is my guy! read more
