We stopped by and I bought a Quilt Across Texas kit to make for my son. Before I left for home I reviewed the fabric quantities to confirm that everything was there, which it was. Fast forward 2 1/2 years. I was going over the directions and realized that although the quantities of fabric matched the directions, they were incorrect and I was short yardage for two fabrics. I searched in vain on line for the fabrics. I contacted Jill at Minding My P's and Q's and she went out of her way and actually found the exact same fabrics and shipped them to me up here! Which is good because we don't have much Texas type fabric up here! Excellent customer service, even long distance and years after the sale!!!

I was greeted when I entered, but after that, I walked around the store without anyone offering assistance or engaging with me, while I observed employees interacting with other customers. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect basic customer service when I'm spending my money. Rather than make an issue of it, I simply left and purchased the scissors from another sewing store where I felt welcomed and was happy to spend my money. Sometimes the best response is simply to choose where you do business.
