Last year they moved to 130 Robertson. I was looking for the family doctor at the time. It is not…read moreeasy these days... I thought I found the one. I liked the place. I liked reception staff: young pretty girls were friendly and helpful. But, here it comes... I had an appointment for yearly check-up. I came 15 minutes earlier, but it turned out I was 15 minutes late: I misread the appointment card; I had to wait almost a month for an appointment, it slipped out of my mind what the real time was, I was really sick at the time. The nurse/ Master of Ceremonies David turned me down. They made me to pay $70 for missed appointment. I contacted one of the owners by email, explained myself: I was on disability with limited income, supporting a child. The owner never responded until I called in a week or two. He turned out to be snobby and greedy. My next visit to the clinic turned into squabble at first: The Main Nurse aka David tried to show me "who is who": I was unwelcome at the clinic... But, he finally calmed down, when he found out that appointment was for my daughter, not me. With the help of another owner of the clinic Dr.Sadana, we cleared the mess. I was hesitating to come back again, but my daughter loved Dr. Parbhakar and Dr. Sadana. They both are good in what they do, and they are really nice people... For my next appointment with my family doctor I had to wait two weeks... Not easy when you are in pain. There was an option of "drop in", but I preferred to see "my" doctor. I learnt my lesson, and I came like 20 minutes before time. Unfortunately, as I found out later, a doctor, who was supposed to take care about "drop in" clients, was absent that day, and my family doctor was told to take care about both own clients and "drop ins". I spent almost 2 hours waiting for my turn... Finally, yesterday I had my last straw... On May 25, 2011 I called to LifeSource and I got an appointment to see my family doctor on June 13, 2011 at 11:15 AM. It was the earliest day available. I waited 18 days for my appointment. I came to the clinic and they told me I did not have any appointments... Master of Ceremonies told me to make a new one. I gave it up!

This is not a "care" facility. They don't actually care. Every time I've been there, we have had…read moreto see a different GP because the turnover is so high. The first GP we had was on the news for "patient ettiquette" basically talking down to people and telling them what to wear. This isn't a fashion show. People are sick and need care, they're not going to show up in a *ucking tuxedo!! Next, we were going overseas, and needed to see a GP to get our daughter checked out. The GP treated it very dismissively, and booked us an appointment on the same day we were going to leave, so we had to email them (because for some reason you can't change appointments over the phone... well the reason is that they want everything in writing to cover their butts, because their receptionists don't understand English, and can't take appointments properly). The next GP didn't even know which patient she was seeing, she called my daughter by a different name, which likely means she didn't review the file before my daughter was seen. I guess everything is in the computer, right?? They have a policy that you must be 15 minutes early for appointments, but when they are late by 45 minutes, they act indignant if you bring it up, not even so much as an apology. In fact, they start making snarky quips and digs at you. It's unbelievable! Now, my daughter has had severe stomach pains for over a week, and they made her wait an entire week, telling us to go to the children's hospital, who then told us to see our GP!! This place is literally run like the hospital in Idiocracy. If I were dying, and needed urgent care, this is the LAST place I would go, because they'd probably put me on MAID without my consent. When reading this, you might think I'm joking, or overstating things. I can assure you this isn't the case. The only reason we're still using them is because all other GPs are not taking patients in our area, and this is literally the only option. I guess maybe Canada should do better to keep doctors in Canada, instead of having a brain drain to the US, where they actually pay them a decent wage!

This clinic looks nice and clean, even inviting considering it's a clinic. It's a little hard to…read morefind the single entrance to the mall - near the rail crossing and OC Transpo lanes. The waiting rom is big and spacious, with lots of seating. When we walked in, there were a few people but it wasn't crowded, so the wait was not eternal. The patients run the gamut from pregnant women to elderly people. However, before going there please note that it's a private clinic, which has a 6-month wait to get in!
