If you are buying a house, or even thinking about buying a house, start with Jeff. He'll tell you…read morewhat finances and paperwork you need to get done, when, and in what order. He will be honest with you throughout -- always direct and never smarmy. He will return every call and text. He will help you understand the whole process, even the stuff you didn't know that you didn't know. He'll send you matches through the app and respond to your comments so when you are finally ready, he knows what you're looking for. Jeff will take you to see houses and will teach you about looking for water in the basement, checking out drainage and the foundation, warning signs and potential 'challenges', as well as being able to answer your questions about septic vs cesspool, how much electric you really need, sussing out if there is gas on the street (for a later stove conversion), and telling you how old the roof is just by looking at it. And any other questions you might have! If he doesn't know the answer, he will find out. He is so thorough and eagle-eyed that you can get excited about the hardwood floors and eat-in kitchen, knowing that Jeff will spot EVERYthing you need to be aware of. He's also really personable which helps when you're spending entire weekend days with someone. We had one crushing disappointment along the way -- not his fault -- and Jeff's straightforward "Okay, that's in the past, let's move forward" attitude was key in getting us right back out there (and we found our house THAT weekend.) He will guide you through the entire process, through closing, and make you feel -- the whole time -- pretty much like you are his only client. Once you close, and you need an electrician, a floors guy, a painter, whatever, Jeff 'has a guy' and if he doesn't, he won't quit until he finds you someone. We would use Jeff again in a second and wholeheartedly recommend him!

My Co-op in Huntington Village was hard hit by Hurricane Isaias…read more We had 3 giant trees come down in the storm: 1 wrecked our new fence and crushed our new patio set, a second tree from the other side of our fence crashed into a third tree in our courtyard and both giants smashed into our building, causing a hole in our roof while both hung dangerously above our walkway and building entrance, threatening further damage and posing a major safety hazard. The NEXT DAY @ 9am!!! our property manager, Ronni Osman, showed up with a 4-man crew to remove the trees from the building and spent the entire day working to remove the debris -- all while our region struggled with major damage to roadways and power lines. Even though we only signed with them 1 year ago and nobody even hoped to get anyone to come to do tree work in the aftermath of this regional devastation, Ronni Osman of Einsidler Management saw the extent of our damage and put us at the top of the list to get us help. (We're a small property [only 26 units] & they manage over a hundred properties.) The crew returned again over the next several days and completely repaired the roof (it looks better than new!), cleared the remaining debris and made repairs to our fence. The transition to Einsidler from our previous management company of over 20 years met with considerable opposition from some residents, but after this even the die-hards have been converted (the leader of this "opposition faction" even spent hours sitting with our Property Manager during the repairs and heaped the highest accolades on Ronni, Einsidler Mgt. and the crew)! When we needed help, esp. with something big, Einsidler was there for us!!!

If you are thinking of selling a house with Tammy, she is good for an MLS listing and that's all. If you are buying a place and she is the sellers agent, good luck and be ready for some extreme frustration. My parents just bought a place and she was the sellers agent. She didn't show the house, the owner did. She didn't show up for the inspection, the owner did. She showed up 20 minutes late for the final walk through, and didn't bother to show up for the closing. The deal took 4 months. Our buyers agent couldnt get her on the phone, she didn't answer emails or texts. She could've disappeared and we wouldn't have known better but a friend follows her on social media and there she was posting pics of her partying. Super Bowl in particular, also a day she wouldnt respond to us. The sellers themselves were not the brightest and being they basically sold their own house, they had no guidance and took the maximum time possible to get out of a house that was empty for 3 years. Shame on you Tammy for being as bad of an agent as possible. You will be reported to LIBAR and I hope they take your license and your gravy train stops. It's not that hard of a job, answer the phone.
