Friendly to the point that it's not hard to tell that they love their job and who they work for. Speaking of management, I've seen owner, Greg working hard and getting dirty almost every day. To me, seeing the owner physically work just as hard as everyone else definitely earns major points in my book. But... Behind every great man is a great woman... I had the pleasure of meeting his wife, Mary who also runs the business and she was the nicest and most thankful person ever. She even had her dog Sadie there. Sadie was a cutie and so sweet. With that said, I have a puppy and unfortunately she urinated on my couch. I did everything to try to clean the cushion. I even spent $250 on a Bissell carpet/ upholstery cleaner. I used many cleaners, including oxy and pet urine specific ones. But nothing worked because the urine was deep inside the cushion. Luckily, I brought my cushion to Carpet Fresh and they literally saved me from buying a new couch. I don't know what their process is, but I do know they injected the cushion in combination with a few other cleaning methods. When I picked up my cushion, it had a pretty heavy citrus scent, but luckily it went away after a few days. So between my cushion no longer smelling like urine and their survice not costing an arm and a leg, I couldn't be happier. Lastly, when I dropped of my cushion, I dealt with Matt. He was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He is a great representation of what the company is about. I'm very thankful that I gave Citrus Fresh a chance and I will not hesitate to contact them for all my future carpet/ upholstery and other cleaning needs.

I was okay paying the $50: but when I brought the runner and they filled out the paperwork and measured the runner, They then told me it was a $100 minimum. At no time on phone or when I first arrived was I told there was a minimum fee charged. It was like you are here now, and we can charge what we want, not what was quoted. I was shocked and very disappointed with the bait and switch. You need to be forthright, not underhanded like you were being. They also told me if I brought in a full size rug, they could clean my runner for the $50 at the same time. So they wanted me to pay for another rug(over $300) and the runner. Very crappy and sketchy customer service.

Found out after a water loss that additional damage resulted from them not removing the linoleum and just placing the laminate flooring over it. Yet they got paid and we didn't find out until it had to be pulled up. Shady. They don't stand behind their warranty either. The flooring installation in the upstairs bathroom was installed incorrectly and they didn't clean the debris from before installing. We tried to get them to fix under warranty and they claim we need to pay for their installer to come out and if he agrees it was the installer fault they'll reimburse us. This isn't how a reputable business should operate. If you're going to hire them you better watch them the entire time or they will cut corners. Spending time in small claims court wasn't how I wanted to resolve this, but since they won't do the right thing we'll have to see if a Judge agrees with us.

Save yourself the time, money, and stress - hire a reputable company that stands behind their work. Goose Creek Flooring - Do Not Use This Company Defective Work, Abandoned Project, and Refusal to Make It Right I hired Goose Creek Flooring to install flooring in my 2,300 sq ft property. I paid $3,000 for labor (I provided all materials). What followed was a nightmare of unprofessional conduct, defective workmanship, and complete abandonment of the project. What Went Wrong: Floor bubbled throughout, the tounges were broken during instalation- see pictures **Defective Installation:** - Company sent ONE installer to complete 2,300 sq ft in extreme heat with no air conditioning - During installation, I noticed and photographed improper cuts that would cause bubbling - TWO separate contractors on-site confirmed my concerns - The installer dismissed all warnings (I have the recorded voice message) - The floor bubbled exactly as predicted - The work was so defective I could not sell my home without hiring another company to redo it **Abandoned Project:** - After the defective installation, they promised multiple times to return and fix the issues - They never returned - I reached out repeatedly - no response - My partner reached out repeatedly - no response - I specifically contacted their estimator Wander on September 7th and 8th - for final chance to corret the problem, no response - They completely abandoned the project after taking $3,000 **Contradictory and False Claims:** - First, they claimed they couldn't return because I hadn't paid a $1,000 balance (payment was due upon completion - they never completed the work) - Then they claimed they told me to use that $1,000 to hire another company - They falsely claimed I "changed the flooring on installation day" - completely untrue and provably false with receipts and security footage - Their own estimator Wander viewed, approved, and praised the exact flooring during the initial estimate **Unprofessional Behavior:** - Demanded $1,000 payment for defective work - Threatened to place a lien on property (they have no contract with the property owner) - Made repeatedly contradictory statements in writing - Refused to take responsibility for their defective work - Blamed the customer instead of admitting their mistakes ## What I Have Documented: - Receipts and purchase records - Security camera footage - Photos of the defective installation taken during the work - Written assessments from multiple contractors - All communication records showing their abandonment - Their own contradictory statements in writing ## The Bottom Line: I paid $3,000 for completely unusable work that had to be entirely redone by another company. Goose Creek Flooring took my money, did defective work, ignored warnings from myself and other professionals on-site, then abandoned the project and stopped all communication. **I am now pursuing legal action for full refund, replacement costs, and damages.** I tried and tried to settle this but they refused. I have countless of footage, voice messages and emails to show proof if anyone needs it. **WARNING TO OTHERS:** Do not hire this company. They will take your money, do substandard work, refuse to fix their mistakes, and abandon you. Save yourself the time, money, and stress - hire a reputable company that stands behind their work.

I wasn't going to write a review of Brown's Hardwood Floors, because he did redo them after the…read morefirst fiasco, but my satisfaction has decreased with after-the-fact issues. Ty Brown was replacing the laundry room floor and refinishing the living room/ dining room. The adjacent kitchen / den area had been refinished about 4 years previously. The biggest issue I have with his work is with the color-matching. He asked if I wanted water-based stain. I said something to the effect that I thought they had used water-based stain on the previously refinished areas, but literally said, "I just want it to match." I did say that I knew it might not be exact, because I had seen that the color changes slightly over time (I was referring to the fact that the color under my rugs was slightly DARKER than the color that was exposed to light). I was out of town while they redid the floors. A friend came by to take care of my cats. And despite the fact that I told him TWICE and reiterated in email that two cats would be in one room and the other cat would be in another room--and I put actual SIGNS on the doors saying "CATS (and the cats' names)--he left the exterior door to one area with cats open and both indoor cats got out. My friend and Mr. Brown's worker (she was awesome) were able to retrieve the cats (after I saw the outside door open on my security camera and alerted my friend to the issue). To give him credit, Mr. Brown took off the charge for replacing the sub flooring in one small area (6 SF) to compensate, so that in itself wasn't too bad. It worked out okay and Mr. Brown made it right. But I got back from my trip and saw that he hadn't stained the new floors at all!!! What?!? When we did the walk-through the next day I told him I couldn't live with them like this, and he grumblingly agreed to redo, after telling me that he thought I had understood that the color would turn amber over time and match(!!!). I had to hurriedly find movers to move all my furniture AGAIN, and he and his worker (who was excellent BTW) came back on Sunday and redid the floors. He was much more positive and taking complete responsibility then (no grumbling), and he did reimburse me for the additional furniture moving (because I had paid extra for his team to move the first time). He brought two stains and we both agreed one looked good. He and his worker spent all Sunday lightly sanding and re-doing the floors. The colors looked good initially--maybe when wet?--but seem to have faded--see pics below. They are much better than the "no-stain" floors, but still not what I would expect for a match from a hardwood floor expert. To to top it off, when the second movers went to move my corner china cabinet, they found that both glass shelves were broken. Apparently they hadn't removed them before moving. To be fair, I didn't tell Ty about the broken shelves, because I was so effing tired of dealing with him. I think he would have reimbursed the money for the glass shelves ($400+). The hiccups with the furniture moving etc. I could deal with. Letting the cats get out I can deal with. What I have trouble with are two things. First: the color once dried is nowhere near a good match. Did they skip additional coats? Did it lighten that much when drying? Second, and most importantly, he told me with the initial lack of stain that the color would "amber up" with time. Apparently OIL-based stains will amber over time, but WATER-based stains will fade in the light (as I had observed). WTF. I can only conclude that he tried to take a short cut, thinking I would not question it. This is not okay.
