I know what it's like to have good people. Vanessa is exceptional. The food was great. We got a couple of burgers. Tasty. I had the onion rings with mine -- a very generous portion and also tasty. We all got beers. They have rotating craft beers and on this trip, they had a selection of 12. My colleagues got strawberry Bitch and I got the nitro blonde honey ale called Show your Stripes. We ordered the jalapeko Bomber Dip to start - it came with 3 pieces of toasted baguette and chips. This dip is delicious - nicely spiced. Our entrees were delicious as well. One friend got the biria dip- half portion with cheese curds, the other friend got holy yum burger with cheese curds. I got the thai chicken sando with sweet potato waffle fries. Chicken was suitably spiced and tender. Pickled onions were delicious paired with the carrots and sauce. Ooo n the waffle fries- crispy and delicious. It stayed crispy for very long too. I got to try some honey samples. I asked for something not too sweet. They recommended a honey latte topped with honey cold foam. I love anything honey and anything coffee..so it was right up my alley. It was delicious and decadent. I also got a turkey panini on sourdough. It was a nice accompaniment to my coffee. I have to also comment on the seating. It's the type of seating that says "stay awhile" and it matters!! The chairs are actually comfortable and I feel like I could lounge for a few hours and catch up on a project or read a book. I will definitely be back to this buzzin' cafe.

Coffee was strong but I didn't taste much honey or cinnamon flavor. I thought it was just a bagel place. I can take or leave bagels. I can pick up a bag at Safeway. On this particular day I showed up ready to shop at said Safeway, famished. There was a sandwich board outside of Oasis with smoothie specials. They've got something besides bagels? Due to my tendency to go off list and grab unhealthy groceries when I'm hungry (that ends up rotting in the fridge) I ducked into Oasis. What? I just stood there for a second. My mountain neighbors were grazing contentedly at their tables. The menu boards were crammed with options. Things I like. Where do I even begin? My husband had been gatekeeping. I called and told him that I found this cafe and asked if he wanted anything - and he said he'd been there a couple of times before on the way to work. The bagels (though he told me that they were fresh and delicious) were a footnote to all the offerings. I honestly felt overwhelmed. The cashier said I could choose a fresh baked item - I selected a croissant - and they'd stuff it with sandwich ingredients. I chose chicken salad and it was epic. Generous shreds of chicken in a flavorful dressing that was creamy without tasting like greasy mayo. To top it off, you can choose a "free" bag of gourmet chips off a rack. That treat makes your $9 sandwich reasonably priced. I got it all to go, for lunch later, and picked up a green smoothie to get me through the store. When I walked in Safeway this lady asked, "Did you get that next door? It's so good isn't it?" All of my neighbors have been gatekeeping, while I have been relegated to Subway and Starbucks. Another time, I went to Oasis with my husband and got a breakfast burrito and fresh squeezed OJ, which were so good. We were anticipating an overnight guest from the east coast so we picked up a few black-and-white cookies for dessert and crumb cake to complement our home-cooked breakfast. All were very fresh and tender baked goods; our guest told us she felt so special. Next I'm going to try their deli sandwich since my tendency is drive over a half hour down the hill to Jersey Mike's, thinking I had no choice. These gatekeepers get on my nerves.
