Being a bridesmaid in my friends' upcoming wedding, I wanted enough color to not stick out like a sore thumb amidst the other girls. I looked into spray tanning options and as I had previously had horrible results with the booths decided to go in the direction of personal application. I came across the Envious Bronze website and decided to call directly. I know how my skin has reacted previously to spray tanning and I wanted to hear information/recommendations from the staff personally. Come to find out, this is a one woman company. Jessie (who is amazing) spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me explaining what she does, the product itself and how it differs from the spray tanning I had experienced previously. She was knowledgeable and so friendly that I immediately asked to book an appointment. As I was a bit delayed in doing so, I had very little time before the wedding. Jessie was very busy but managed to squeeze me in the morning that I requested -- so thankful! When I arrived to her studio in Windham (or she can come to you), she met me at the door and explained the whole process. She was so warm and welcoming and instantly made me feel comfortable - which says a lot when you're standing in front of a stranger with very minimal clothing on! The process itself was simple and quick. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. Jessie gave me great follow up care instructions and almost 5 days later I still have my tan! I, along with all of my friends, were so impressed with how natural looking the color is on me. (They saw me when I was orange). In short, this is THE PLACE TO GO for spray tanning. Jessie is great and the results (even for people with "troublesome" skin) are even better. Any time I need a spray tan, I will ONLY be going here.

I'm a super white Irish girl who to be honest is way to busy in my life to lay in a tanning bed and wait for my desired color and with a friends wedding quickly approaching I opted for the spray tan. I saw a very nice selection of cosmetics and skin care items from major brands such as Estee Lauder, Clinique, Tom Ford and such. They were running an awesome sale where their items were 30% off and some of them were even 40% off. Definitely a good time to shop if you want higher end beauty products at way less than department store prices! I got a great deal on an Estee Lauder cleanser that I would have paid way more for online or in a department store. I also got a MAC lipstick in a beautiful shade that I spotted and only paid $5 for it which is really a steal. The saleslady threw some trial size Aveda hair care products in my bag when I went to pay for my items which was a very nice touch. She also gave me a coupon for 20% off a single item on my next visit to any one of their locations. The customer service is great here and I love the store. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Maine.

The staff changes each year but they are always grumpy and totally disinterested in what they are selling AND they don't know much. We spend over $200 in this store every year and no one seems to care or know what they are doing. It is extremely frustrating and a disappointment. I worked in retail for many years in the cosmetic and fragrance departments, so I have expectations. At least be cordial.
