When you roll into town for meetings and the hotel agent recommends a restaurant by stating, "it would be my first choice... for sure". You have to know there may be something there worth trying.
Sing's was very much worth trying. The food was piping hot and fresh. Really excellent. I had to try the "Ding Dong Beef" for no other reason than it's name. I'm glad I did. We wanted to try a good sampling so ordered the dinner for three. There were of course only two of us dining and we took home enough food for a family of four.
When we ordered the house wine and asked "what is it?" the server simply smiled and said "...not sure, it is in a box". There was no hint of cardboard in the Chateau - it was not a bad wine at all. I enjoyed the house red while my colleague tried out the blanc.
The restaurant decor is a spin back to the 70's but it was frankly the only part of this experience that is frozen in time. Having shared that point I think it imperative to state that I wouldn't recommend changing anything - I love it.
If you live in Manning or are simply passing through you should put Sing's on your agenda for a great meal. read more
Great food! Disappointed with the service. I cannot eat a lot and took too much on my plate. I wanted a to go container so the food doesn't get wasted but they don't allow it. They just like to waste food I guess. read more
