I visited on Friday to have Thing Two's photos taken for a cover shoot for Austin Family Magazine…read more https://austinfamily.com/ (Thing Two will be on the cover in September). The photographer, Jordan, has a remarkable talent for capturing dynamic shots. Her work truly brings out the personality in her subjects. She takes photos for various occasions including senior photos, family photos, creative photos that capture an artistic moment and so much more. When clients enter the studio, they are greeted with a plethora of her creative works. The works are in matte and glossy finishes to match 'the vibe' of the photo taken. During the photoshoot, Jordan's professionalism was obvious as she was able to capture key shots of Thing Two in just a few shots. Furthermore, the direction that Jordan gives her clients as it relates to lighting, posing are clear and concise making the session with her not only efficient but easy! As an independent business owner, Jordan works around a client's schedule so they don't feel obligated to squeeze in a session that may not work for them. Last, Jordan only focuses on one client at a time (no double booking). If looking for a local photographer (which I seem to have found quite a few) in Central Texas, definitely give Jordan a call. *Technical note, no photos can be taken during a session of the session. #supportlocal

I'm waaay overdue on this one! Back in 2017 we booked Karen for a family photo shoot that included…read morea vintage pickup she used to have on the property. She did a great job on the pics and we had plenty of options to choose from. Looking back at the experience, and the family photo on our wall today, it was definitely the best professional photography experience we have had (including our wedding!). Several years on I still have this impression. I expect we'll be in contact again when our grandchild arrives!

He was always so quick to respond. When the wedding finally arrived, he put us and our families at ease. The groom and both fathers are pretty vocal in their dislike of photos, but Jeff managed to win even them over - he was professional but fun, and the suggestions that got us all laughing led to some of the best photos during the family portraits. We did a two-hour session earlier in the week before the wedding with just the bride and groom, to save time during the packed wedding day, and this ended up being a great call. Not only did we get some incredibly striking photos in a different setting than what was available during the wedding itself (like in front of a jaw-dropping sunset), we also had the opportunity to get comfortable with Jeff and his shooting style. Highly recommend. The photos turned out amazing, which is a huge understatement. He put together the gallery after the wedding faster than I was expecting, and sent us access to an online gallery. He had already picked out some highlights, but sent us everything so we could go through ourselves. He also did a few touch-ups for us that meant a lot - like removing an accidental photobomb from another vendor when my dad and I were walking down the aisle. Overall - an amazing experience! I've never had professional photos done before, and the candid moments he was able to catch of us I will cherish forever.

We had forgotten to tell him we were bringing our dogs to the venue for some pre-ceremony photos (oops...) but they were so relaxed about working it in. Even with our crazy dogs and chaotic families, Jeff & his wife were calm and good-humored throughout the whole event. They were familiar with our venue, so they had some really great suggested photo spots, but they were also totally happy to incorporate all of our requests too. As for the photos, WOW. Seriously stunning. We have hundreds and hundreds of absolutely gorgeous photos, and you can find a photo for every single guest. It took about 4 weeks to get them all back, and we got some sneak peek photos about 1.5 weeks after the wedding. It was all completely worth the wait, we are so so so happy and grateful to have had Jeff for our wedding. It was everything we hoped for and more.

He even sent a final review list morning of, more than half of the pics i said were MUST HAVES did not make it. The bride got none with her bridesmaids in dresses, none with her groom and their kids (that was discussed and Ross knew were very very important), none of groom with his parents...Pretty much NONE of your standard wedding pics... Just didn't happen. And yes, he could try to place blame however at the end we did a fake send off and I, the bride, asked several times because I knew there were missed pics and he assured me he got them all. Also, he was heard by many guests cursing at my bridal party... NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. To make matters worse, after numerous emails, he simply did not respond to my email questioning why so many pics were missed. I have not heard back since. Then, I had a signed contract in place releasing rights to ALL of my pics (both edited and untouched) and he literally deleted all of the internet links to same however still uses some of my wedding pics under his new business name...... Seriously, I knew I shouldn't have, but I gave a journalist/hockey photographer a chance to capture a wedding, and although the few pics we got were alright, he failed to do his job full out. Word of advice, spend a couple more hundred dollars and give your self proper pics to remember. DO NOT USE ROSS, SLOPPY PHOTOGRAPHY, OR THIS NEW FOUR POINTS PHOTOGRAPHY for your wedding pics... It's been over 6 months since my wedding and I am still very devastated.
