Located just across the road from the Uni tram stop, Sinbads should be added to every student's list of places to go for a cheap eat at lunchtime or in between lectures/tutes. On the face of it, it is pretty innocuous and is not really that much to look at. But when you go inside and experience it, you'll soon see it as a special place. The staff are some of the friendliest people you'd like to meet. The kebabs look remarkably healthy and taste great. But that's not all they have to offer. There are a number of vegetarian options with a fantastic falafel. You can also go for a hot plate with a huge range of options to choose from.
A meal here will only set you back 6 or 7 bucks and they also have a loyalty system so if you eat there 9 or 10 times you get your next meal for free.
Don't judge a book by its cover. You'll love Sinbads and their great staff who are a lot of fun at lunchtimes. I went there pretty frequently for two years straight and can't recommend it enough. read more
