Over 5 years consistently sitting with Amy every single month for 2 hours and over a $17,500.00 cash investment, I had to fire her and walk away with unfinished art and a less than desirable take away from her. Amy is a talented artist, she has tattooed my entire family. We all had invested heavily in her. Over the last 16 months or so, she became less interested in the tattooing and more interested in everything else. Some sessions she was so distracted with her kids or animals or people visiting the shop I barely got any work out of her and the work became more sloppy and unrefined as compared to years prior. I have had standing monthly appointments for 5 years and always paid in cash. I was a easy, agreeable and loyal client to her. I had to ask her to reschedule my July and August appointments way in advance as I had things come up on my schedule I could not avoid. Was told they would get back to me right away and get me in. That did not happen. I followed back up 3x and each time was sorry... nothing yet. My husband saw Amy posted openings on Facebook (I don't have FB and she has always been very aware) so I called her and asked why she didn't offer me those openings? She tried making some BS excuse and I told her that I feel she has been treating me like shit and over the last year or so it's been unenjoyable and stressful sitting for her. The conversation ended with me telling her to F off. I won't be going back, ever. Amy is a milkman... she will roll you along and never finish! However, I was able to get my elbow finished (a touch up I had already paid for and she never finished) and my leg sleeve completed and touched up over some of her mistakes and I couldn't be happier with my ink. At the end of the day it would have went a long way for her to appreciate the amount of trust and money we supported her with over the years and its sad her arrogance allowed her to take us for granted. She used to joke I made her car payment.... now I spend that 320.00/month somewhere else. * to reply to Amy's comments. Folks: before you sink exponential dollars into a tattoo artist that has clearly given up...do your research. Amy knows I have MS not mental issues so her hateful attitude was expected. At the end of the day I had an amazing artist fix the stuff she did horribly wrong and make me feel like a million bucks! I'm not agro Amy, best of luck. You are just too arrogant for me. read more

I've been going to this shop since it opened. I've known the owner from when she worked at a different shop and followed her when she opened her own studio. I've never let anyone else touch me with a needle for a piercing or a tattoo. I've had 5 intricate piercings and currently have a full sleeve on my right arm and partial on my leg. This shop is clean. The prices are fair. The work is incredible. Everything that is posted on their Facebook page is done by the artists. None of the work is stolen from other studios or images from google. Clients that come here are very true and loyal. I will not go anywhere else and I'll continue to keep giving this company my support. I get compliments on my ink, daily. I feel that anyone who comes to this page to bash the artists or owner had a bad experience due to their negligence or research. read more

Amy is such an amazing artist and tattooist. My husband went in and told Amy what he was thinking for a tattoo and she free handed drew it on him and he was amazed. It is the most beautiful tattoo I've ever seen! And he has added dermals to his tattoo also which completed the piece. Our daughter (age 5 at the time) wrote a letter to my husband and he took it to Amy and she copied it perfectly on my husbands thigh. My husband and I won't go anywhere else to get our tattoos or piercings. Don't hesitate to go to Amy and tell her what you are wanting for a tattoo, she wont disappoint. I've been going to Sin Studio for over two years. I'm there almost monthly for two hours and my thighs are almost completely done. My back is next. Amy Soto (shop owner) is amazing. She free draws all of my tattoos and brings my ideas to life. Her skill is extraordinary. Her apprentice, Mackenzie is building her skills and does beautiful work. After looking at Amy's instagram I decided to book an appointment and I was not disappointed at all! She is a great artist and will give you an honest opinion. Not only did she give me an amazing tattoo but she has also did a cover up and an enhancment on a very shitty tattoo. Amy tattooed a portrait of my dog that passed away. This is my most special tattoo and it turned out better than I could have imagined !The little details are truly unreal. I feel like my old man is always with me now. Everything from the shop, communication before the tattoo and the after care are unmatched. I have several tattoos by different artists and this experience was one of a kind. Amy is currently working on a full sleeve on both myself and my husband. My husband has many tattoos but prior to starting my sleeve I only had two very small tattoos. I was super nervous and Amy has always been super patient and understanding - she even took the time to do a quick doodle on my arm to make me feel better about placement. I've been here for around 100+ hours of work over the span of a 4-5 years. I've never had a bad experience. Eian and Amy are both awesome artists and make the experience fun! First thing first, I have tattoos from all over the country. From hawaii to California to North Carolina and Ohio. Amy covered up a tattoo I got that I hated from the moment I got it.
