This is a brand new practice in a refurbished house, so the space is very fresh, clean, and vibrant looking. Everyone there was beyond nice - just incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My daughter, 5, was a bit nervous, but was charmed by the kid-friendly touches. The hygienist was so gentle and warm; my daughter relaxed and felt comfortable cooperating with all of the procedures. Dr. Mirna is delightful! She is so sweet and engaging. I felt like she did a very thorough exam, NOT like one of those dentists who rushes in at the end of the appointment and looks at your teeth for 20 seconds. After we left, my daughter kept saying how fun it was to visit the dentist, and that is exactly the kind of attitude I want to foster in her.

I am having SUCH a hard time dealing with insurance and office staff for whatever reason so this is to address that. Wanted to try out a new dentist for my daughter since Cumberland is a joke. I made an appointment the start of September, told them I was using new insurance and sent them the info via text as I was instructed to do. They failed to update insurance info and ran the secondary insurance instead. Of course I did not know, I left assuming that the insurance I GAVE THEM was being used. I then received a letter in the mail from my secondary insurance saying the care was denied, which I knew that would be the case. Hence why I gave the office my new insurance! I called them to let them know. Spoke with Natalie, she said she would update it asap, and to "attn" the text with insurance info to her. Which I did, literally sent the same insurance info I had already sent two weeks prior on my initial visit. Annoying...but okay. Fast forward to this week. Monday 10/6 A MONTH after my initial visit, I call and ask if there is any update to which I am told that my insurance had denied coverage because THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO RUN MY OLD INSURANCE and payed no mind to the new insurance I gave them. I have to explain yet again that I (from the start) have tried to use my other insurance. I honestly don't understand what the issue is at this point. It can't be that hard. So the woman I spoke with said she would put it through and that the insurance woman would send me an email letting me know an estimated price with my new insurance. Alright cool FINALLY! I thank her and wait for email. Email never arrives. Now it's Wednesday, and I call again...speak with Natalie again, she sounds like she remembers me and tells me insurance will definitely email me today with the estimate. Mind you I never asked for this estimate, they just offered that..I don't even care about the estimate info at this point, it's the principal of it all. It's bad business. Period. I'm literally asking for nothing more than to just use the INSURANCE IVE GIVEN YOU PEOPLE SINCE 9/2!!!! ANYWAYS... I still have no email and have no interest whatsoever in returning to this place. For the office staff alone, holy hell what a headache it is. Short staffed or not, it's been more than enough time to deal with this issue. Get it together. Get this..NOW they wanna call me. I've NEVER over this entire situation gotten a call and NOW they wanna call me. I guess someone read the review. I'm not taking it down. Sorry not sorry. Too late.

Not the fault of the dentist at all, it was just a natural reaction, so we looked for a pediatric dentist & so happy to find Dr. Bryan. This place is welcoming and the Dr really tries to get to know your family and talks to your child before even going to the dental chair. Does a great job of trying to build rapport with a child. Also provides great info to support your child's dental health. Then it was time for the cleaning. Needless to say ours cried and dad had to hold him, but Dr. Bryan was swift and it was done efficiently and quickly. He cleaned our child's teeth (despite the yelling and tears) and took care of any teeth issues! Our little one (once it the car) said Dr. Bryan was nice and it didn't hurt. Dr. Bryan and his staff really knows how to support and work in these challenging situations. The office is clean and welcoming as well for families.

He treats and does everything necessary, nothing more and explains and informs you throughout the process. Talking with him, you will know he is a wealth of knowledge. I took her to different pediatric dentist in Murfreesboro first and they wanted to cap her teeth in a hospital like setting with my daughter under anesthesia. I was able to be right next to her and she did not have to be put completely under anesthesia. I was very pleased. Fast forward to the present. My daughter has now needed braces. After the appointment, they suddenly charged me $250 -- and I had no idea that any extra service had been done or that it would cost more. I had no information about the X-ray at any point. No one explained that it would be performed or that it had a separate fee. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. When I went back to speak with the manager, she was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she blamed me and said, "Did you ask?" This is extremely unprofessional -- it is the clinic's responsibility to inform patients before doing any additional procedure or charging extra fees. I left feeling disrespected and financially taken advantage of. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who expects honesty, transparency, and proper communication.

I went to two different dentists before them regarding dental work my son needed done. I was quoted 2300 before any insurance. When I showed them this paperwork they scoffed at the cost and how much it would be and verbally told me they couldn't imagine how a filling would be that much. They told me they accepted United Healthcare and they verified my insurance on my first visit. (We had four total over a month long). Turns out they just verified that I had insurance not any of the benefits. I was told today "We do accept United Healthcare just not all plans". Had they been more honest and upfront about the situation I wouldn't be so upset and might consider going back. I would have even went back as a cash pay patient because I liked them so much with my son. United Healthcare wound up denying the entire bill of $2200, and they are telling us there is nothing that I can do on either end. Dr. Buzz's office DOES NOT offer any cash prices if they are expecting you to pay the full price. Which is the first dentist I have ever been to that does not. They also do not offer any payment plan regardless of situation. I had 16 fillings redone in my own mouth through another dentist and I paid less than what they are charging me for the 6 my son had done. I am currently in the processes of appealing it with my insurance to try to get it covered but the dental office itself will not do anything. It is a shame considering the staff was fantastic up until this point. This is one of the better pediatric dental facilities that I have ever been too. And I will never return because of the billing itself. I was also told today they cannot verify the benefits because United Healthcare changed their policies and does not allow providers to speak to them what so ever. I personally work with United Healthcare and happen to know that is not true. I also got verification from United Healthcare that that is not true. They have an entire Provider Service side for the providers. Update: They will also respond to you and tell you that they encouraged you to check your own benefits and to call them because they can't. This never happened and I was told they did verify my benefits. However today I was told they verified that I had insurance and that's all they check.

From start to finish, scheduling to walking out the door, the kindness and care for patients is remarkable. We were blown away by the entire spirit of that office. Today we saw Anna and Dr. Buzz for my kids first visits at the practice. This was my daughter's first-ever visit and she has asked to go back because it was so fun and she felt so special. My son was nervous about the appointment but left with a big smile on his face. He said he can't believe we found the most perfect dentist. The office is fun, clean, and I was able to sit with my kids during their appointments. They worked with our schedule to make it possible to see my kids back-to-back, even though there weren't any time slots available when I first scheduled the visits. They had some things move around and called me back to get the kids appointments together. The sweet personality and the kid-friendly terminology used was very much appreciated. I appreciate his approach to caring for our kids' teeth and I have confidence in his work. It is a very welcoming place to bring your children and it's very clear that Dr. Buzz and the entire staff greatly values their patients and families.
