I approved defrosting the fridge and replacing the part. However, he didn't inform me that water would continue to drain afterward and left immediately after payment. I then found water pooling on my laminate floor and had to call him back right away. He didn't seem aware of the risk this poses to laminate flooring. The service call and repair were $275, plus the cost of the main control board. Rohit did the job in 35 to 40 minutes, and I found him invested in his work. I'm giving 3 stars due to the lack of communication and concern about potential floor damage.

He came to our house months ago to look at our stove, and discovered it need a circuit board replaced. We decided to go through our house insurance, so we needed a quote to get the claim processed. We thought, we would ask Scott's Appliance since he did the original work. We asked him to come by and give us a quote; he gave a time and date and we confirmed. I took time off work to meet him, the time came and passed; he did not show. We called him and he just casually said he forgot? No sorry, no apology...? So he said he would email us a quote, so we accepted that method. He sent it over the next day without the proper insurance information, hours of labor or company letterhead. We asked for the hours, he sent them separately in another email. We texted back, we need it done properly on a full quote all together. His reply "Are you serious?" We commented back on his unprofessional comment, and he then came back with "I don't need customers like you." That is fine, we would not have you fix anything of ours again anyway! You need customers more than we need you! There are plenty more professionals out there looking to earn our money. I am looking forward to telling all my friends and family in Maple Ridge all about my extremely negative experience with Scott's Appliance Service.
