I believe her name was Helen, as I heard another customer say her name, she didn't give me any instructions on how to use the sunbeds, as Im A beginner when it comes to sunbeds and it was my first time at this particular shop. Furthermore the shop was untidy, and I was recommended 9 minutes, I come off burnt and was in quite a bit of pain. Maybe they should offer a consultation or something before recommending 9 minutes to a beginner.

Serviced by a few wonderfully friendly nature ladies I've so far always felt wery welcome, unhurried and satisfied with the excellent sunbeds and value for money. £70.00 buys me 120 minutes and all I need is 6 minutes twice a week to maintain a safe natural looking tan and this is my 4th week. I discovered Shellac, dispensed with lots of good advice about nail and cuticle health, and a pretty fair cup of coffee. I'm now a complete beauty addict, and spend a small fortune in there every month. They earn every penny it's not just the expert skill level, it's the warm welcome and customer service. The imaginatively named Tantastic is my local tanning salon and is a lovely little place with fun staff (who definitely take advantage of where they work). Tantastic offers stand up tanning booths and the staff seem to know an awful lot about the art of tanning and always encourage you to purchase the protective cream which will also enhance and maintain the colour (apparently). They regularly offer discounts for a group of sessions but I usually opt for the 50p per minute price as tend to go quite sporadically. I have no complaints and find it fairly inexpensive.

I personally have no need for the majority of the treatments that they offer here, but I have been happily coming here for some time now for my haircuts. Frankly I was tired of paying a staggering £60 for my stylist at Vidal Sassoon in Bond Street to sort out the mess that is my grizzled wig and I am now very glad I made the change. There are a number of different members of the team and all know what they are doing in their respective areas and give great advice to potential customers, doing so with a very happy demeanour and friendly professionalism. So, aside from the quality haircuts for reasonable prices, they offer highlights, tints, colour correction and hair extensions, if those are your kind of thing... even children's haircuts. Girls, if you are looking for some pampering before a special date or beach holiday perhaps you may want to try their choice of stand up or lay down sunbeds, spray tanning, facials, massages and full waxing service that ranges from upper lip to a Hollywood. I am not too sure that I would go for the latter option personally though. Full manicures and pedicures are on offer, as well as men's body care treatments. So if you have a proliferation of back hair that leaves you looking like a gorilla in a Tom Selleck impersonator contest, you need to check this place out. There's no excuse, OK guys?

Great bikini wax with Alexis. She was friendly, welcoming (despite my coming in with a Groupon--…read morethe salon must have seen hundreds of similar customers in the last few months!) and was very responsive to my questions. Plus the wax itself was surprisingly UNpainful-- lovely oil treatment to protect the skin, quick work stripping off the hot wax-- in fact, the only bikini wax in my life that hasn't left me traumatized, nursing a glass of vodka afterward. (I opted for fro-yo at Frae today instead). Bravo, and thanks again!
