Over the course of 11 months, we were charged $1,925 per month--plus an additional setup fee that made no sense--yet we saw virtually no measurable improvements.
From early on (starting around June 5, 2024), we raised numerous issues: our website showed no signs of the promised changes, and every time we reached out, responses were slow, taking weeks or even months, and often nothing substantial was done. Despite assurances that changes would be made in month 1 and that resources would be front loaded for long-term results, the promised work never materialized. In fact, it wasn't until several months into the contract that they began writing and uploading blog posts--the very content we were sold on. And just as we requested detailed reporting in December, the content creation halted entirely, leaving us with a stagnant website and deteriorating SEO.
The most damaging aspect was their handling of our keyword strategy. We had built up rankings for numerous valuable keywords, yet Ignite Digital focused solely on 11 paid-for keywords. Rather than supplementing our existing strengths, they replaced pages that were already ranking, which severely hurt our overall SEO performance. Throughout this period, the only element that was consistently "on time" was the monthly billing.
Our experience with Ignite Digital has been, without exaggeration, one of the most expensive mistakes we've made. Their approach--characterized by delayed communication, minimal effort, and a lack of tangible results--has left us with no significant improvements after nearly a year of service. If you're considering their services, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere, whether that means bringing an SEO expert in-house or leveraging proven SEO tools and strategies.
