The staff are friendly but not always knowledgeable about wines - I would call them enthusiastic amateurs - but are happy to help any way they can. A good place to stock up especially around Christams when you can face a 3 hour wait at Asda tills, and they often have special offers on.

There is plentiful on street parking around the corner however. This shop is mainly an off licence selling a range of alcohol as well as snacks - crisps, nuts and chocolate and a small range of other foods. Prices are about average, and it is a useful place to go to if dropping into the nearby fish and chip shop for a takeaway. For prices however, they cannot really compete with Asda, which is about 5 minutes walk away and have longer opening hours.
