If you want the reassurance of a birth with proffessionals and equipment to hand, within a 'just like home' environement, then this is the place for you. Private rooms have birthing pools/ balls/ armchairs etc to make your birth as relaxed as possible. After the birth, the rooms have double beds for partners to stay and really are like a bedroom at home. The staff are fantastic and will give you as much/ little support as you want. i cannot rate this hospital enough.only wish there was a super positive extra star to give it in the ratings on Qype!

An outpatient hospital, part of the Essex primary healthcare trust…read more This is a really nice, clean hospital with caring and professional staff. I visit every couple of months as an outpatient and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. The hospital has moved location (slightly) but the move was seamless and no loss of patient care or professionalism occured. I have used the hospital for blood tests, x rays and regular ENT checks and have always been treated as a whole personnot just a symptom and they have been equally as good with my 6 year old. This really is the NHS at its best!
