This was our first Opera experience. We went to see Die Fledermus on their opening night at the…read moreEgyptian Theater. We had fun dressing up and going our to dinner beforehand. The rustle and bustle of sneaking and dodging past past the crowds in the entry way could have been managed more, but alas we finally found our seats and ready for the performance to begin. The Opera was much like a cross between a symphony and a musical and all around entertaining. The singers also doubled as actors and good ones at that! I really enjoyed the live symphony playing as well, very talented musicians! Can't wait to attend my next opera!
