I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by the way I have been treated by Kuttin Kru this week…read more After having a cut and colour on Wednesday at Mexborough I went home in tears at the state of my hair. The ends were a spectrum of colours ranging from absolute white to pale blonde- totally uneven and ashen at the bottom when I had requested a simple blonde ombré as I have had many times before. The hairdresser was in a rush to close the shop and thought it was acceptable to shove a bottle of toner at me (which said on the bottle to use for 3 minutes) and told me to put it on for half an hour. This slightly improved the appearance but I was still really upset with it and embarrassed to go out in public. I requested a refund of the £55 I had paid as I wanted to go to my old hairdresser to have it fixed. I was refused a refund but was told I could go to the Rotherham branch for the manager to 'fix' it on Saturday. I was dubious about letting them loose on my hair again but went to the appointment in the hope that the manager would be a professional and sort out the issue. Instead, the manager was rude and unhelpful and proceeded to stand me in front of a room full of clients (mostly polite elderly ladies) and spin me around asking if anyone could see a problem with my 'beautiful' hairdo. She also said that I had been given a 'free' home treatment. I was so upset and embarrassed that I just left and will have to pay out again to have the problem remedied elsewhere. Totally rude and unprofessional I would never recommend this place to anybody!

I went there because I already had a bad day. The first guy was nice, but then they got a grumpy…read moreguy out of the back, that didn't know what I wanted. The language barrier is hard enough as it is. I'm American; in the States, we have great customer service for goods and services. I speak with my wallet; I walk if people are rude. I had already had one salon be rude and only remove some polish on three fingers. So, the second guy kept yanking and jerking my hands arms and wrists in unnatural positions. I have arthritus and it is painful. I get manicures monthly, but never had anyone yank and obviously be irritated with me about positions. I'm a human! Not a dog to swat and yank. I wish places that call themselves 'American' knew about customer service. Having no patience with me and yanking me around is ridiculous. I should have walked. He didn't like that I was trying to chat with other ladies and be positive. So every place I went that day to get pampered, people had an attitude,,,why bother?
