I made an appointment eight weeks ago to get my lashes done. I wanted to have it done for a high school reunion which was two days later. I arrived for the appointment only to be told that the girl that does lashes no longer works there. No one bothered to call me to tell me this. So it was a waste of my time to drive there and not get the service done. It's was too short notice for me to get an appointment elsewhere before the reunion. This is not the proper way to treat clients. I will not be going back after this experience. read more

I love going here. Everyone is super nice. I go tanning & get my hair done here. Felicity does my hair every time & she's great. Living down the street from here makes it easier to just walk up & get some exercise on my way to tan or do my hair. So the location is excellent. I started out with the basic tanning package & got tan very quickly. But I don't burn so the bed was good for starting out. Then I went to platinum package & my face & legs are even with each other. I do walk ins a lot. But when I do... Any bed I wanna use is usually available. It's a more laid back atmosphere & I feel more comfortable getting my hair done here than somewhere else. I've been over charged at other places. But the prices here are perfect & reasonable. And they have so many more services here that I definitely plan on using like the hair extensions & eyelashes. Ok honestly if I could give no stars I would. I go tanning ever summer. I started going to simple indulgence a few years ago and has the best experience, and then they switched owners. So I stopped. The next few summers I found another place to go and loved it but unfortunately it closed. So I decided this summer I would go back to simple indulgence since I never had a bad experience and see what's new since they changed owners. I was very impressed they had different bed and 2 different monthly packages. I went with the gold package $65 for the month. So when I started it was good. Only thing I didn't like at first is when I got the month unlimited that technically I wasn't getting a full month besides them being closed on Sunday which they always where, they were also closed for the holiday ( July 4 )and Monday as well. Which is fine but I really think they should have gave you the 2 days at the end of your month. But I was like ok I'll just deal with it. So the next day I went I got there and told them how long I wanted to go in the bed for. Went in the room pushed white button on wall which gives you 2 mins to get lotion on and then got in the bed and pushed the green button to start the bed. Now I was only going for 5 mins that day because I was very busy, but anyways the bed came on and 2 mins later it was off. So really I was mad they screwed me outta 3 mins. I know I know who would get mad about 3 mins but I paid for the service. But anyways I got out got dressed and went out and asked them the only response I got was no you were in there for 5 mins. Whatever ahhh. Then the next time I went I was screwed out of a minute and I said there is no sense of getting mad about it. Got home and a little while later I noticed my tan. It was weird. I laid on my back. I had no tan anywhere on my back or back of legs. Not even a burn. But then my front did get burnt very little ( which I always burn very little and next day it's gone) the strange thing was my face, neck, and chest were the same color they were when I went into the bed but my stomach and front of legs got tan and burnt very little. I didn't understand why my tan was just 2 areas stomach and front of legs. Oh did I mention my wedding is in August main reason I was going tanning. So I tried different the next time I went and laid on my stomach and then my back and back of legs got tan and a little burnt. The bed didn't seem consistent with they way it tanned. So I figured I'll try the other bed the next time I went Well this is where it got bad for me. First off they have signs on the beds showing it is clean. They must not check cause the bed I went into was covered with dried sweat marks and tanning lotion so I cleaned the bed got in and went for about 7 mins got out cleaned the bed and left. I was perfectly fine had a nice tan going, then 6 hours later the front of my legs and stomach were feeling weird. I looked and they were as red as a stop sign like really I never burn that much ever. They told me the bulbs weren't new so I figured I went tanning got a weird tan that was not all over but I also was always out in the sun so once I start to tan I don't burn. And I have tanned before I know how long to be in an not burn. I was on fire had chills started throwing up. The redness I had on my legs then started getting blue marks all through it and before you know it I was at the doctors. It hurt so bad I couldn't sit stand walk let alone sleep. Turns out I got an infection from bed not being cleaned properly as well has 2nd degree burns all over my legs. I'm so disgusted the way I've been treated there and now with server burns all over my legs I can't go back in the tanning bed. So let's just say I'm not out 65$ after many attempts of calling for a refund and after calling they must have caller id because then they started hanging up on me and in bar pain with a huge risk of getting a bigger infection where the 2nd degree burns are.
