This is where I pick up a cheap toy for the dog, with a section of inexpensive chew toys available, ready and waiting for your puppy to chew to pieces. Most are good quality, and I've found that even though long hours have been spent trying to destroy them, the toys hold up really well. As an avid believer in a good costume party, I've also hit this store up for bit and pieces for costumes. They stock a small range of wigs, dress ups and accessories and as they usually don't last the night, its good to not have to pay too much for these bits. I also have picked up sunglasses form these guys and my current $7 sunnies have lasted me almost a year...whether they are actually UV resistant is anyone's guess, however for $7 I cant complain.

You will almost always find a few bargains for yourself or a gift for someone else. There are three similar shops along this strip and they are all well worth checking out. I love checking out NQR every now and then for the completely random range of items they stock…read more Although you cant bet on finding a winner every time, I usually leave with a swag of food, whether it be favourites for a discounted price, or something I haven't seen before that grabs my attention. Great for if you are having a party and need to stock up on finger food and dips etc, as the stuff is ready to eat and you'll save a bunch of great food that people are most likely going to devour whilst drunk. Basically, if you don't know how it works, NQR get regular brands of food, drinks, groceries and alcohol and sell them really cheap. These are brands you'll know of that might only have a month left on the expiry, or wound up here because they weren't selling well. However they get here is none of my business, all I'm concerned about is the fun of finding bizarre food items and buying them.

Rather than just making a complaint I wish to inform you the Spinifex Caravan Covers are potentially ok but...the material used is not consistent and quickly falls apart 'in some places'. The Spinifex claim that top and front material is 3 layer is questionable! (I have tried to attached copies of photos taken of the cover I have on my Motorhome today which has, in total, been on the Motorhome about 9 months.    In addition, the zoomed photo was taken a couple of years ago when a 'previous' cover had the same failure....only on one panel.  I did make a claim then because the cover had not been used much at all and Anaconda replaced it...which I appreciated).  I in fact purchased a 'replacement' cover yesterday (3rd cover in less than 3 years)  from Anaconda Bayswater (22'-24')  for $199 which I will use soon. I am not making a claim...because I appreciate the covers are not expensive....they do the job....but they could be much better with a little more control on material quality but your Supplier. As a seasonal camper, we came to the Bayswater store when in need of a new tent for Meredith Music Festival, and found that they not only had a huge range, but with each tent set up on the display floor, you could actually try them on for size. The staff were great here too, helping us with any technical questions we had. Also stocking a huge range of camping equipment such as stoves, torches, fridges and anything else you'll need, this really is your one stop shop for camping.

I always leave here with something, and at once stage there were so many great leather jackets that fit me that I kept returning to buy them all, just because they fit, and were quite cheap. You could easily pick up a good leather jacket for $30 at one stage; one that would easily set you backs $200 in the city. Of late however, the prices have lifted a little, reflecting the trend for recycled and second hand clothing. A huge range of shoes lines the back wall, and my little lady often winds up trying on heaps of good ladies clothes and leaves with a swag of dresses for a steal.

This happened the last time I visited Common Cents in Wantirna Mall and it was exceptionally awkward. The service staff had charged the customer too much for their items and the customer cracked it. The pair were arguing for a good ten minutes while I stood behind tapping my foot and waiting to be served. It was frustrating as the service staff member was obviously wrong yet she wouldn't admit it - so much for the customer always being right. The store itself was pretty messy with a dirty sheet blocking off the end of one aisle. Stock in here is typical of any two dollar/homewares style shop with cheap vases, floor mats, buckets, plastic kids chairs and stickers. When I got served and asked for the shops phone number the service staff member was extremely evasive and unhelpful. This was very frustrating. She eventually gave me a 'temporary' number after I said I might want to order something. That is the number I have listed above. Somehow I don't see myself returning to the shop or ordering anything. Browsing the store and being served were both unpleasant experiences.

Fantastic Home & Gifts is one of those gift stores that seems to stock and sell just about…read moreeverything for you home. Unfortunately, still being a fairly new location there are a lot of gawkers and people who thought it would be a good idea to bring their small kids along for a family outing. Getting around the store during busy times will be a real pain until people figure this out. Parking on the lower level of the carpark usually works out slightly easier. Don't bother queuing for the elevator. It's quicker to take the ramp than fight the people who have bought two items and apparently lost the use of their legs doing so, resorting to a shopping cart the size of tasmania instead. Just watch out for the people who can't figure out how to walk on the left.
