I'd give these people a ZERO if I could. Simons (and I think other collection agencies does this too) called today and hung up after I picked up the phone. I said "hello" repeatedly and there was dead silence on the other end of the line and eventually they hung up. No one identified themselves, didn't say this was a call to collect a debt or anything like that. So, I called back. This must be a new tactic of debt collectors - I believe that many will call and hang up before a person has a chance to answer the phone or let the person pick up the phone (like with their call today) and stay dead silent while I beg for someone to respond. Anyway, when I called them back they identified themselves....at which point I told them I didn't appreciate the hangup call and would immediately block them. And i did. Debt collectors do not have the right to make harassing calls and if they do, just report them to the government. I refuse to let them ruin my day. read more

Sorry to report folks, Simons has gone sour Long story short, there was a questionable debit on my credit report, Simons had the power of removing it, but instead, today I was forced to speak with the meanest, nastiest, most un-asymptotic person I have ever met. First she asked me VERY personal questions which I answered in good faith, hoping she would understand my dilemma; not only did she refuse to understand, she gave me fake apologize's and explained in too many words how she had the ability to help me but just did not want to. She talked over me in unjustified smugness, stopped listening to me, I sincerely hope the owner listened to that recorded message. Do NOT bother to cooperate with these people, they will lower your credit score EVEN IF YOU COOPERATE WITH THEM AND PAY!!!!! read more

This collection agency was contacted back in February 2020 regarding a FDCPA debt collection violations , there were also validation of debt letters sent to the agency with no replies or confirmation. A complaint with the cfpb was filed as well. It has now listed new actions with not even a letter or document received , it is once again a clear debt violation, currently the agency is trying to damage my credit report. A search for the agency will display 40 lawsuits filed in the U.S., and these typically involve violations of consumer rights and/or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM / REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY !! read more

Beware of this collection agency I received a form to pay an overdue bill for a medical office on the east coast. I was not at that office or city in 2017 or any other month/day/year. I have lived in the SW several years. I talked to Tom and told him I found online and called the medical practice about the alleged Invoice. Accounts Receivable had no idea what I was referring to. Tom was to call me back the next morning with more information. Now over 2 weeks later no call. I sent a certified/return receipt letter. Simon's Agency received it almost 2 weeks ago. No response from them. I did not fall for the scam. Beware letting them scare you into paying bills you don't owe. We reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. I finally received a written notification from Simon's agency. I DO NOT OWE THAT MEDICAL PRACTICE I wonder how many people they scam into paying bills they don't owe ! read more

The manager, Todd, does not return phone calls in a timely fashion. He pretends he's in a "business meeting" for 2 days straight. The customer service reps are untrained and uneducated, and after talking to 5 reps, no one is on the same page and everyone tells you something different. I had one rep lie to me about the logistics of my case, and claim they tried to "contact" several times, when I received one phone call. (Had Verizon verify the lack of calls from this number), and Todd, instead of acknowledging that his employee told me the wrong info, claimed he listened to the phone call twice. Guess what Todd? I recorded the convo and the info your claiming is there isn't. They are liars and scammers and have terrible customer service. Beware! Involve a lawyer instead of dealing with these criminals. read more

The only reason I gave them one star is because you can't give them a zero. For several months these jerks keep calling my cell phone for SOMEONE ELSE. I have called them several times asking them to NOT call my number because the person they are trying to reach is not at this number. The harassing calls keep coming. I have tried being nice, and not so nice. Last night I told them if it didn't stop, I would file a complaint with the NY Attorney General's office. They told me that I had to file a cease and desist order because I owed them money. I don't know how they can be this stupid. I will follow up on what I told them. Next time I will file a complaint with the Attorney General's office for harassment. These people are sleazy. One time they will recite my phone number and the next time they ask what number I am calling from like I don't know they have caller ID. They can't even keep track of their own lies. No one would give me a name and they would not give me the address of the company. I found it quickly on google, so I don't know what they are hiding. read more
