AI kept trying yoschedule me for a service i was nit requesting. Days later their system canceled my appointment, rescheduled without talking to me, went back to my insurance company to get approval which created confusion on my insurers part thinking I was getting a second procedure. My procedure was delayed. I had to reschedule appointments with my doctors and specialists because of this and treatment has been delayed. Today, I got a random email saying we got approval from your insurance. You need to schedule an appointment. Call back in fight the AI again and then get with someone who confirms my appointment was still in the system. I asked to be transferred to someone in management to talk about their faulty AI and the auto generating system that was failing clients and get someone who theoretically was supposed to be management. Turns out it was another scheduler, and they had no power to do anything. Another Steinberg fail. After this test I willl not be going back to Steinberg and will be helping my friends and family to go to other providers as well. Why help them? Because so many can't fight their way thru the AI super ststem and just give ip. This is medical need not an impulse buy. The Steinberg of even 5 years ago is gone. The service you get is not worth the hassle and fight thru their subpar systems and poor customer care center. If only there was a zero star option.

    I only needed an x-ray so I was able to just walk in and didn't need an appointment. The worst part…read moreof my visit was checking in. It was very strange. I had to pass an officer of the law with a line of hand cuffed prisoners. Then when I got to the desk it seemed like I had to wait forever. The lady checking me in just kept nodding her head. This took a very long time. Then she hands me some sort of computerized check out form to fill and pay myself. That was strange too. In reasonable time a nurse fetches me for the x-ray. I was in-and-out in a flash. That was painless and easy. They send everything to your doctor and don't tell you a thing.

Once, when they withheld my driver's license and insurance card, and denied that they had it when I asked for it back. I am sure they felt that another senior had a memory lapse, and their feelings showed. In fact, the person who signed me in claimed she gave the documents back to me. They finally located my cards and returned them to me without an apology. Today, I was scheduled for an MRI. I had the appointment for two weeks. While I was driving to the appointment, a member of the office staff called me to cancel my appointment claiming they no longer had a contract with my insurance. When I asked when that was effective because I recently had a shoulder X-ray, and my insurance paid their claim, they told me it was effective Jan 2026. When I tried to explain that my insurance was a Medicare advantage PPO and that it paid for providers out of their network, they still claimed I could not be seen. My question would then be, if this was effective Jan 2026, why did it take so long to tell me that they could no longer provide service? Each time I made an appt, I uploaded copies of my insurance cards. Why call me 30 minutes prior to my appt time to cancel the appt? I now have found another radiology clinic closer to me who has no problem with my insurance. I am sorry that I had to leave Desert Radiology after being with them for 14 years, but I think this move to a new provider will be more convenient for me and less stressful. Some thins happen for a reason.

    I originally had my appointment scheduled for the Smoke Ranch Road location. They had called me…read moreabout a week later stating that they didn't have anyone that could do my ultrasound on the specific date and rescheduled me to the Cheyenne location, which wasn't an issue, I asked for their earliest appointment and they stated at 7:30am. One day prior to my appointment, I received a voicemail stating I needed to confirm my appointment; however, the day prior I had already received my confirmation text for 7:30 and filled out my paperwork through the online portal. So I called them back and stated I have an appointment tomorrow at 7:30 and just want to make sure that it's confirmed because I had filled out the information the day prior. They said oh we saw it just now you're good to go for tomorrow morning. I arrived at 7:06 because I know I'm an early bird but being a new patient, I assumed that they would want you there at least 10 minutes prior. I waited in my car until 712 and then I walked up to the door and it was locked so I waited around until 7:30 rolled around. It was still locked. At this time another patient arrived and was also waiting, but her appointment was at 8am. I tried calling the office a couple times and it just rang. I then called the Smoke Ranch location and the lady who answered was extremely nice, tried calling someone at the Cheyenne location with no luck. She then double checked my appointment was at 7:30 and was at the Cheyenne location, she apologized and said someone for sure should be there at 8. While talking to her someone backed up in a space right in front with their sunroof open. I told the Smoke Ranch lady that someone had pulled up but I didn't know if they were a patient or employee. Finally after another 5 minutes she went into the employee entrance but never opened the front door. More people started coming so I asked one of them if they could please check what was going on since my appointment was at 7:30. Finally after more time passed someone opened the front door and stated that the woman in the jean jacket who was the first person to go in could help us. I said my appointment was at 7:30 and asked what had happened. She then stated they don't open until 8. I said I have a confirmation text of my appointment time and confirmed it with them the day prior. She then tried to tell me that 7:30 is the arrival time, but my appointment is at 8. Lying to my freaking face! If my arrival time is 7:30 why was she sitting around in her car and not there in the office at 7:30. Why would the lady also waiting have a text that states 8 and not 7:30 like me. Why would the lady at Smoke Ranch not have said anything about that when she confirmed she saw my appointment was at 7:30. Because the Cheyenne receptionist is a complete liar, that's why. She was completely gross, obnoxious and rude and could have handled the situation completely differently. She could have just apologized that no one was there and that would have been it. But no, she tried to make it seem like it was my fault for being there at 7:30. Get it together and try being just a little bit professional, you work at a medical office. Steer clear of this location. It was my first time there and I hope they hire a better receptionist who is more compassionate with patients. The lady who did my ultrasound was very sweet, as I had been very nervous for my appointment.
