Law Office of Katherine Kraus, PLLC…read more I wanted to share my experience using the Law Office of Katherine Kraus. Divorce, it is difficult to say the least (one of the most difficult things to go through) but you need a team to help you through the process. Katherine Kraus is not like other attorneys where they want to get involved in every little detail. Her and her team want to make it as easy and affordable for you as possible. Some attorneys try to have you use them for every little thing possible, not with Katherine. She was very easy to work with and she streamlined everything with my divorce. These are my points as to why I feel this firm is as legit as they come..... 1. They don't nickel and dime you. Most people will blow their retainer before you even get to the table to discuss allocations between you and your ex. Not the case with this law firm. She streamlined the process for me from the get go and came up with a plan as where my ex's attorneys looked for everything possible to be involved in the divorce. 2. Responsive, they get back to you asap with any questions, you won't be waiting long for an answer to any questions you have. 3. The paralegal team is amazing, I will say "KC" is the most responsive person I have worked with. I do work professionally with the legal system and her paralegal team is by far the best out there. This is key when retaining an attorney, most people overlook this. "KC" handled most my matters instead of having to get the attorneys involved. This is key because it will save you money in the long run. If you have a great paralegal team, they can handle most your matters. 4. I never felt any financial pressure from this firm, they worked with me instead of me working for them. 5. When you need an attorney to get involved in a situation with the divorce, Katherine is there, no questions asked. I couldn't be happier with her and how she got back to me on the different aspects of the divorce. Divorce is tough (very difficult) but you need a team to be in your corner. They won't bleed you out of money and they make clear and logical decisions. They have the best paralegal team out there. I had my trust in this firm from the beginning and I have had nothing but positive things to say throughout the whole process. I was able to work directly with my ex on a lot of aspects of my divorce and they were there to support me in this process and only got involved when I needed them. Most attorneys want to be involved with everything which will cost you an arm and a leg. My advice, retain your attorney, let the dust settle, and come up with a plan, don't let emotions (I know this is easier said than done) do the legal work for you. I highly recommend Katherine Kraus and her legal team. Don't retain an attorney to nickel and dime you, get a team to support you and this is the team.

My child custody case has been settled for over a year now... my honest review without adding too…read moremuch detail of my own personal situation.. Initially: was referred to the office through my works program. They seemed professional, and the lawyer they paired me with seemed like she was ready to fight for me and my baby girls rights and had me feeling confident. As the case and trial continued, it felt like the lawyer was giving me solutions that would benefit the opposing party more than me, and these solutions were not by any means within the best interest of my daughter. I am leaving out the name of the lawyer I was initially paired with because she no longer practices there! I was then given Erin Grimm to cover me on my case. She made everything so simple and easy and gave me certain solutions and tools that my previous lawyer made seem not even possible or attainable. Erin helped me to feel a sense of security and peace of mind through the whole process. It was a long process, she always got back to me in a timely manner wether phone calls or email, and my paralegal Barbara Alford was equally as helpful! To be honest i'm glad I didn't check the offices reviews initially or else I may have gone with a different firm, but Erin was amazing and if you are looking to find someone to give you just and fair options while still keeping your own personal preferences in mind and giving you tools to use in order to execute your custody plan as desired - she was amazing and I will use her for any other family law matters moving forward!
