I never mentioned it in my initial appointments because my previous dentist denied there was an issue and I just gave up. Don't do that by the way, I should have immediately gotten a second opinion. I finally worked up the nerve to mention my pain at my most recent appointments and the Dr IMMEDIATELY identified it. He had me describe the pain, he gently messed with my jaw and he poked at the muscle. The fix was so simple it was almost laughable. I have had a lot of dental work over the years including multiple crowns and they just needed to do a bite adjustment. The pain was gone almost literally instantly. After the usual dental visit soreness my jaw felt amazing. I didn't even realize how much my life was being affected by it. I had stopped feeling hunger cues because of the pain, I was constantly in a bad mood. Lesson learned, if your dentist isn't listening to you about your issues, move on and get a second opinion. The list goes on and on. The staff in the front office is poorly trained. The doctors are looking to make money. I will never step foot in this office again. it is that horrible with the front desk and with the dentist. They also incorrectly build my insurance, which is insurance fraud.

The only reason I went to him(for the first time)was, that Medicare does not pay any portion of the procedure that was coming up. I did checked many other Dental offices for their prizing and such and was shocked at their very high fees. Since my own leftover teeth were in such a bad condition, Dr.Johnson recommended a set of dentures with implants and bone crafting for the bottom. The Dentist and his staff were always courteous, friendly and helpful. Since the Dentist is a very busy doctor, he does not talk unnecessary, but always answered my question to a full satisfaction! He also did made the dentures look like my own teeth, as I wished for. I am very happy with the results !!! Any little challenges were taken care of w/o a hitch. I would have given his office a five star but the appointment lady was making snafus when she had to cancel/change 3 of my visits with a very short warning/notice because something came up with the Doctor. My account was flagged due to my kids getting sick with the flu then COVID making it so we had to cancel their appointments. They refused to let us reschedule. The schedulers were a nightmare. There is 1 doctor there who is absolutely amazing. However the bigger guy is just as rude at the front scheduling staff. Very disappointed with this practice. Just know if your kids get sick you will be flagged and treated very poorly.

I don't like that they push sedation even for very minor procedures. My 4yo daughter needed a very…read moresmall pinpoint cavity filled on her front tooth and they pushed me to sedate her. The dental assistant rolled her eyes at me and scolded me saying I should've opted for sedation, she asked "if i was *at least* going to give her laughing gas" in a very exaggerated mocking tone. I replied that I was fine with the gas as I stated at to the dentist. My daughter was there for a laser assisted cavity cleaning for an extremely minor cavity and then it was to be filled with the tooth acrylic. There was no reason to sedate her for that. The dentist was wonderful he reassured me in my decision and had her cavity gently taken care of in under 15mins. He is truly a saint and the only reason I bring all my children back. Most of the other dental assistants and office staff are wonderful.
