I actually believe the reviews here are pretty accurate when it comes to the cost and commitment…read morethat FLC asks of their patients. It's absolute true that this is not the place to go to if you're looking for a quick fix. And it's true, there are plenty of chiropractors that offer symptomatic, acute pain relief care for a lot less. But that's not what Dr. Mindy or FLC is all about. This chiropractic office is different from the average chiropractic office. Dr. Mindy and her team are committed to changing peoples lives by giving people access to perfect health and vitality. The chiropractic adjustments is only one part of the total approach. They also integrate nutrition, rehabilitation exercises and fitness for a whole body approach to healthcare. It's pretty impressive. If you were to get the same level of service somewhere else, most likely you wouldn't be able to get it in just one place but you would need to hire a nutritionist, chiropractor, fitness instructor and physical therapist - and the cost would quadruple too. What I'm most impressed with is that I have an ally for getting my health on track in Dr. Mindy that I never had before. She'll never give up on me or my health goals. Dr. Mindy and her team will do whatever it takes for me to get the results I'm looking for. I've been getting chiropractic adjustments for over 24 years but my back was still a mess when Dr. Mindy took my xrasy from working at a desk all those years. But just within 2 months my spine is in better shape than it's been since I started getting adjusted 24 years ago. It's pretty amazing! I've paid a lot more during those past 24 years without seeing lasting results. I've changed my eating habits following Dr. Mindy's easy eating plan and lost over 4 dress sizes in just 2 months. For the first time in 10 years I'm exercising regularly and my energy is back to what it was when I was in my 20s. So to me it's been worth every penny. My advice: Be clear about what you're looking for and find a chiropractor that is all about getting you what you want. Just because someone is not a good fit for you doesn't make them a bad business. Dr. Mindy Rocks!!!

I'm pretty surprised by the reviews on here - not at all accurate to my experience with FLC! I was…read morereferred to Dr. Mindy by my old chiropractor after I moved to the SJ area and I'm so glad that I took the recommendation because they have honestly changed my life! I have a lot to say about my experience here, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet. Why I love FLC: amazing office staff, friendly doctor(s), holistic health approach, free health and nutrition seminars, convenient location and hours. Of course it isn't cheap, but it's worth it for your health - and you definitely get what you pay for! I have made amazing improvements in my health this year and that would not have happened without FLC! Note: please don't put too much stock in the bad reviews here, more than a few of the one-star reviews seem to be from folks that haven't even been to this business and/or have no idea how chiropractic care works. It's unfortunate that there are also several great and accurate reviews (from actual patients I've seen at FLC!) that have been flagged as "not recommended" because they aren't avid yelpers.

I initially started seeing Dr. McCauley for my lower back issues. I always felt 'crooked' so to speak. He came as a referral from a colleague of mine so I went to check him out. It took about 2 months (once a week) for my lower back to be aligned. I truly was worried about seeing a chiropractor because it was so unknown to me--- I was not sure if it was going to hurt during or after. Dr. McCauley always heats the area prior to making adjustments and I feel 100 times better when I leave his office. After the 2 months, I took a break (wish I didn't), I saw him again a few months ago for an adjustment and again, I feel much better! I will stop by once a month to make sure I stay aligned. The location is also great as there is always parking available and the freeway is only a mile away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not only is her space warm and welcoming, but she's also incredibly approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. And when I say Munchie has worked WONDERS, I mean it! A couple of months ago, I threw out my back to the point where I literally could not bend down. The discomfort was so bad that I was losing sleep and struggling to do everyday activities. I immediately reached out to Munchie, and after just three sessions within one week, I was feeling about 90% better! I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference she made in such a short amount of time. Chiropractic care has become such an essential part of my overall wellness routine, and I now see Munchie regularly for monthly adjustments. I was pleasantly surprised that he took an x-ray of my back to show me what was wrong and going on. He also took a few days to really look into my issue and figure out the best course of treatment for me. After we decided on my treatment plan Dr. Kim began to do adjustments on me and showed me some exercises that I could do to prevent injury from occurring again. He even offered to look at my seat in my car to ensure that I was positioning the seat properly. I only stopped seeing him due to having car issues and then by the time my car was fixed my back pain stopped. If I have more back issues in the future I would definitely come back to Dr.Kim. My interactions with staff was pleasant as well and they worked with me on ensuring that I was covered through my insurance. It can definitely be difficult to book an appointment especially as a new client so they sometimes close their booking for new clients. However, if it's not urgent I definitely feel that he's worth waiting for!

When Myofascial Therapy Isn't What It Seems: Why Training and Trust Matter…read more One patient's experience reveals why proper certification and professional standards matter in bodywork -- and how the right practitioner can make all the difference. I was referred to Kyle for myofascial therapy after experiencing persistent tension and discomfort. At first, I felt some temporary relief, but I wasn't seeing lasting results. Over time, I learned why: during one of our sessions, Kyle admitted that he had no formal training or certification in myofascial work. He told me he had "seen others do it" and didn't believe there was a need to be formally certified. Because of that lack of proper technique and understanding, I ended up returning week after week with minimal progress -- essentially locked into a cycle that wasn't helping me heal. About 2 years ago, I decided to stop seeing Kyle. Since then, I've begun treatment with a highly skilled chiropractor who is not only fully trained in myofascial release but also teaches the method to other professionals. Under his care, I've learned what true myofascial therapy feels like. My body tissues are actually releasing and unwinding as intended, and now I only need to go once a month for maintenance. The difference has been profound. I've also realized that the environment of a practice can reflect its professionalism. My new chiropractor's office is spotless, organized, and free of any unpleasant or musty odors -- small but telling details that create a sense of care and integrity. I share my experience not to disparage, but to remind others to ask about training and certification before beginning any therapeutic treatment. The right provider can make all the difference between temporary relief and lasting recovery.
