It's easy to see that St. Ann's invests and cares about its students. What really sets this school apart is its emphasis on community and inclusion. We also like that it is a feeder school to Notre Dame high school that is right down the street. St Ann's and Notre Dame work nicely together. My son has been in schooling since the age of two, finishing his pre- schooling in the Pre-k class at NGHNS. He was in a small class, allowing for a lot of individual attention; I felt that the teachers truly learned who he was, how he learned, and had a strong relationship with him. The price is extremely reasonable for the three day a week program. The teachers are genuine, they care about your children, and they have plenty of help between teachers, aids and assistants to ensure no child is left behind. They do a good amount of field trips, programs, and activities always allowing for parents to tag along and be involved. They have optional bible study, so wether you choose to have a nonreligious upbringing or to have religion introduced to your child on an understandable level for them, they leave it up to you to make that choice. They have a before school luncheon program that also allows the kids to learn to eat together and learn to be socially respectable in similar situations. The children learn a lot from numbers, letters, and the basics of addition and learning to read. The pre-k program truly prepares them for Kindergarten. From Day 1, they have communicated honestly, openly, and kindly about anything regarding my daughter. The school is organized, the teachers are happy and genuinely care for the children in their classrooms. For an anxious first-time mom like myself, the app they use to send pictures and updates throughout the day has helped ease my worries while I am working without having to call the center and interrupt my work day. I briefly switched out of Goddard but quickly realized I made a huge mistake and sent her right back. To be fair, I do wish that their classrooms (not class size, but size of the room) were a little larger and that they allow for heat-up lunches more days of the week and had fridges in every room, but I guess no daycare is perfect. In summary, those inconveniences are less important than the overall quality of care/education and open communication I experience at Goddard. I highly recommend Goddard School of Huntingdon Valley. You will receive a high quality education if you send your child there!

She previously was at a school that we quickly transferred her out of because she was becoming withdrawn, shy and was always dreading going to school.
