Never, ever, place your money in this bank. It is ridiculous. There is no consistency to the excuses…read morefor why you can't access your hard earned money. My first week having my account I deposited a check that had a nearly 2 week hold on it. I go into the bank assuming it has something to do with it being a new account. The bank manager called around and got the hold lifted for me...and the excuses began. 1. "Regions has never had a check deposited from this person before so they put a hold on it. So sorry it wont happen again." Few weeks go by, deposit a hand-written check from a Dentist, I am a temp RDH so this is how I get paid. I mobile deposit it because I work 8-5 and this branch isn't open on Saturdays so how else should I do it? 2. "It's hand written and a large amount so it has a hold on it for over a week and you can still use your debit card you just can't get cash" I went to the bank on a Friday to see about the above check and wasn't happy with the "can't access YOUR cash" part but I was going to NWA and didn't have time to deal with it. That night I mobile deposit a PRINTED check for a small amount and BOOM they put a hold on it for another week. Is it a new person? Is it hand written? Is it a large amount? NO! Get to NWA and am able to make a few purchases before I embarrassingly get declined at not one, but 2 restaurants on my hour long lunch. After first declined transaction I called the number on the back of the card and they said it was a fluke and they had no idea because it wasn't showing a declined on their end and I should be fine, also I have to only speak with my local branch to get stuff pushed through...because its 2019 and that's real efficient. Go to get lunch at a different spot after being embarrassed at the last one. "Your card says its over the limit" I call the branch number and get the same employee who told me I could use my card but not cash. He lifts the hold (as he should have when I brought in the physical check to show him its authenticity before going out of town HE could have prevented this, I had told him I would be out of town) He says he can't lift it on another one. I ask why and he says "Ya know, I dunno why there is a hold on that one" 3.It's probably because you're getting checks from various people. 4. "you know you can deposit that at the ATM right? (I've done that, had a 3 day hold) 5. "Are you making it immediately available when you use the app?" (done that, it rejected the check when I tried and it charges a fee, Do I need to pay a fee everytime I deposit money? It' s free if deposited by 8PM and available the next day according to the mobile app) He basically tells me that if I want my cash when I need it, I'm going to need to change banks. I banked with Bank of America for 12 years and never had a check have a hold on it, never had any of these issues. This bank is TOO small to handle your money. I'm not talking about large amounts either. EVERY check but 1 I have deposited has had some kind of ill-reasoned hold on it for a prolonged amount of time. Once my hold is lifted A WEEK FROM now I will be moving to another bank. You guys should have found me someone to explain what was going on, lifted my holds and tried to keep me as a customer. This is how you treat new business? What a joke. Your answer is "I dunno" how professional and fact-based to reassure me that my livelihood is safe and accessible. I opened 4 accounts and they will all now be removed from your business, because when I need money I can't wait 10+ days.

Terrible and unprofessional staff, rude and not helpful at all. I have been banking for over…read moreForty years, and I regret that I ever opened an account with this bank. I have had money missing out of my account, and had to report this bank several times to their regional office. They told me I had to wait ten days for a refund for a unauthorized charge that was deducted from my checking account. The staff seem to be miserable and appear to hate working there. Do not open an account of any kind with them. The Cabot Arkansas Branch is the worse of all.

I told her my issue, and she asked me the last transaction. I was already frustrated, as this has happened several times. Maybe it was me, but I felt like she was interrogating me. I asked her, "Could you please just look up my account and try to fix it please?" She got a little "tone" in her voice and started moving her head back and forth, saying, "Well I NEED to know the last transaction,..." blah, blah, blah. I said, "You know what, why don't you call your manager up here because I really don't appreciate your attitude. She pointed to the lady a couple seats and down, and said, "She's right there!" Then, she SLAMMED my card on the counter. I went to talk to the other lady, and she started giving me lip as well. As I was talking to the second lady, Monica kept chiming in. She couldn't allow us to talk on our own. I replied to Monica, "You need to GO HOME." Then Chelsea, the "manager" said to me, "You are NOT going to talk to our employees that way." I said, "I'm the CUSTOMER, and she has been disrespectful." So, Monica can speak to me any kind of way, but I'm not allowed to stand up for myself? I didn't yell. I didn't curse, although I was quite tempted. They were ALL against me, and I think it is because they didn't like my looks. I suggested that perhaps that might consider taking some "emotional management classes" so they are properly trained on how to deal with a customer who is upset. Then, Monica started SCREAMING at me and said, "GET OUT! GET OUT RIGHT NOW BEFORE WE CALL THE POLICE!!" Then this other employee came in and Chelsea said to him, "Matt, could you please escort this gentlemen out?" I was already walking towards the door. Matt Boyd, who is the Market President was not interested in hearing my side of the story, but just automatically took their side. Again, obviously he didn't like my looks, so they're all just a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites. Petty, bigoted, morons. I have had an account there since 2020, and obviously they weren't interested in retaining my business. I went to a different branch and closed my account. Good riddance!

As to the one negative review ( by David F.), look at what he is saying. It's his fault, yet he wants to blame the bank. What a self entitled idiot. Any other bank is going to do him the same way. Bet he hops from bank to bank giving bad reviews.
